Ourchased a 09 SL with 360 package. This vehicle is outstanding with all the toys. The cvt is much more advanced than that of the 2008 nissan vehicles that have cvt i.e. Rogue. More room on the inside than it looks. Not too big and not too small crossover.
Average 22-24 mpg.

I previously had a 2006 but, traded it in for a 2009. The difference in handling was like night and day. I get better gas mileage, it's easier to maintain and it has every luxury feature I want. This car is so beautiful, I traded in a mercedes for the 2006. Other reviewers said they didn't have automatic headlights, but both my cars have it. The only thing I wish Nissan would improve is their service department....read morehide

I have a 2006 Nissan Murano and had to replace the battery in less than 2 years and the warranty did not cover the entire price. I also have a leeking power steering fluid hose that needs to be replace and it has taken over 4 weeks to get the new part because they are on back order and they don't know when they will get the part....read morehide

I leased my Murano last year in March, it's great! I saw the Lexus, Infinity, Honda, toyota and Acura, and still I end up with Nissan Murano, excellent leg space, storage, a lot of great features, very stable to drive, Bose sound (very good)... in general I am totally in love with my car, I am paying a little more for getting it so soon, but I would do it again, it's the best car I've had so far.
Gas is better than the rest, still doesn't give what Nissan says (its normal) but my murano gives me aroung 18 to 19 miles per gallon (city miles).
Every time I have friends or family with me, everyone loves the leg room on the back seats and the possibility to recline the back of the seats (second row).
I think just a few thinks could be "fixed", get better... the interface to setup maintenance, add phone numbers to the system, satellite radio interface would love to have more options of storing stations, and be able to do more of the radio from the steer wheel.. but believe me I am talking about minimal things, in general everything I just mentioned it's good.
if you are thinking of getting a new crossover, really consider Nissan, their service has benn ok, but they could make it much better... I had a Saturn before and Saturn has a much better service than Murano......read morehide

Small cargo area, Roof antenna interferes with any roof box. This car is super hard to wash. tons of nooks and crannies.

I have just had it for four days. The ride is good. Vehicle is stylish and has 18" wheels. Yet to determine MPG. Got it at $27K with premium pkg and other minuscle options. Wish there were more storage space in the front cabin. I like it and is worthy enough if you can bargain much.
A major drawback is the blindspot. The window at the rear is a little too small and the rear seats obscure some view at the corner. You'll have to solely depend on the outside rear view mirror. Other than this and a little space, the auto is very good.
Thanks

In regards to the design disaster. The area just above the front windshield but not the moon roof. Most cars have a metal strip that runs across the top of the windshield. NOT this design. NO they chose to run dark tinted glass across the top of the windshield. I know it sounds completely stupid since rocks will hit this area over and over again, but they did put it. Here is the greatest part about this situation. Sit down for this part. Nissan wants $3200 to fix this 3ft by 4in. strip of glass because they said it is a part of the entire roof system and so the entire system must be changed at a cost of $2700 for the system and $500 for the labor. For a $50 piece of glass?? You can obviously tell that the glass has nothing to do with the system once you open your moon roof. Unfortunately my dealership didn't even know that this partition between the windshield and the moon roof was glass not metal. They were half as shocked as me. Trust me. Unfortunately they would only get me the price of the investment. They refused to call and challenge Nissan on this rediculous design error. Great service after the Sell JP Thibideaux, N.I., La. I hear ya. I purchased 2 of these cars and this is the service I get for standing in line first to buy the '09 models??? Never again. Do not buy this car for just the looks unless you want to spend your savings account on fixing shattered glass that should amount to a dab of paint over metal. StateFarm is tossing their cookies only after I tossed mine when I told them....read morehide

We just bought our Murano about three weeks ago and are really enjoying it! I traded in my Nissan Quest that I really liked because I didn't need the third row seating anymore. I knew I would like to buy a crossover that wasn't too big so I did alot of research before I started looking. The Murano drove like a car instead of a SUV. I love the luxurious interior and the sporty exterior. We cannot believe how quiet the engine is! When you're stopped you would almost think that the engine has gone dead. It makes traveling with someone so nice because you can hear each other so easily! (The Quest was not so quiet!) I love the screen that shows what's behind you when you're backing up. However, I do wish that it had the backup alarm that beeps if anything is close when you're in reverse. The Quest had this and it makes you very dependent on it. I also love how comfortable the seats are and the Bose sound system. Our girls love how roomy and comfortable the back seat is. It will be great for vacations. There is also ample room in the cargo space. We did not choose to get a sunroof this time because I never touched mine on the Quest. I was a little concerned that it might seem a little more closed in but I have not missed that feature at all. Needless to say we think Nissan has really outdone themselves with the new 09 Murano and we are thrilled with our choice!...read morehide
