I fell in love with this car the second I test drove it. The interior was comfortable, sleek and very user friendly. Initial love usually fades but I must confess that the love is still strong for my car. With good comes the bad. The bad first.
There are a few things that i wish could have been done different such as rear view from the window (too small), the blind spots (too big) and acceleration (doesn't pick up speed so fast). With some minor adjustments rear view can be adjusted by installing a camara that connects to your rear view mirror (about $700), small blind spot mirror can be attached to your regular side view mirrors (about $10). However as far are the pick up, not much you can do unless your a car buff and decide to trick out your ride however I wouldn't recommend to do such a thing. You can always learn to use the Techtronic/manual gear shifter and get your own acceleration.
Now the good. 350 miles per tank highway and approx. 200 city (depends on the traffic.) The Rogue offers a very stylish interior for both driver, and passengers. Bluetooth ready, Bose systems, beautiful leather seats, an extra power source, and the list goes on. Granted it doesn't have as many buttons, bells and Whistles as a Murano but its also significantly less expensive. I truly love this car and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in it. You really cannot go wrong with the price and the options it offers....read morehide

Complete and total value for the money! Had some wind noise coming from sun roof, but dealership fixed right away! Getting 26 mpg city and 34 mpg highway! Wanted a Murano, in a bad way, but test drove the Rouge and because we were paying cash for the vehicle decided to go with the Rouge! Not disappointed at all!!!!!...read morehide

i bought this suv because my 2008 f-150 lariat was total lose, and the insurance spend too much time to pay me, but i needed a car to use, but don't have too much creadit to buy a expensive on, so have to check out cars under $30000, the other reason was the gas was so expensive. one thing is good for this car is the horsepowers, you can drive smoothy with more that 800 lbs in the car. if compare to my old f-150, was totaly different, the f-150 was more comf, better view, horses, no road noise and the nav audio system is much better than the bose in my rogue. of couse the price is twice as the rogue....read morehide

I have gotten endless compliments about my new Nissan Rogue. I had to find a new car in a matter of a month due to my other car nearing its end. I looked at the Murano but found that the Rogue offered pretty much everything the Murano but 10K less. I got my car ( SL 2WD, no need for AWD in Cali) with an IN DASH navigation system... it can be done, I had to go to 5 dealers to find a gentlemen who has done it and without ruining my warranty but it was done and I love it ( all touch screen, even the bluetooth system). I have had my car for 3 weeks now and have found no problems except the rearview visibility can be tough but that is one reason i have the rearview camera ( for changing lanes I more or less usually rely on my mirrors). The other con would be the nav. system freezing every now and then but I think that is my own fault. I tend to push too many things quickly and dont give the system a moment to complete one task before I give it another. Overall I love this car and would def recommend it!...read morehide

Generally it is good car.
But I am very much bothered by noise from back side when it is rain.
I will bring the car to dealer to see whether they solve the problem.
Problem is the noise is heard only when it is rainy.

Picked up my Rogue in April, 2009, with all the extras except the navigation. I love it! Rides great. The Nissan ?Smart Key? is the coolest! I do notice a little wind noise at high speeds and a little noise from the steering wheel when making slow turns. I have been averaging 22 mpg on mostly city driving.
I would recommend the Rogue to anyone looking for a nice reliable car....read morehide

This car has been a major dissapointment. I've had it looked at three times for the wind noises, nothing can be done. One educated guess by a technician was the top rails were the cause. Haunting numerous minor problems with bluetooth, moon roof controls, and clamps that come loose and cause rattles. Passenger side seating is poorly diesigned - if you lower the sear back to a reclining position the bottom of the seat protrudes into your lower back....read morehide

I researched for about 6 to 12 months before I purchased. I live about 35 miles away from my job and needed something that could get me there with minimal gas uasge but in the snow was well. The AWD Rogue was that car. I only have to fill it every 3 days and it handled well in the snow this past winter. Glad I went with the Rogue, and for under $30,000 fully loaded with extended warranty, can't really beat that!!...read morehide
