This car makes my day. I am not a weekend racer nor a big car tuner; but I like performance cars that deliver some fast and furious action once in a while.
I look forward to my everyday commute to work now; and my weekends involve a lot more joyriding (like driving 20 clicks just to get ice-cream). The Spec V is a joy to drive....and especially knowing that it's been compared to the 2009 Lancer GTS in acceleration, braking performance and overall pep. The Spec V foot print makes an easy job squeezing into that parking spot where 2 guys double parked at the mall or outside the Movie Theater. I love the low rev throaty sound too.
I don't think you can go wrong with this vehicle; I think it morphs the Mazda 3 footprint (somewhat), the Civic Si performance, with some GTi class. Get this car if you can; I got mine after a few cash incentives and rebates on a 0% rate; so I'm very pleased.
