Owened 2008 Tacoma 4dr SR5 4X2. Price made me look at the Frontier. Glad I did. It is a lot of truck for a lot less money. Rides, drives and handles as well as the Tacoma. Gas mileage is a wee bit less but you can buy a lot of gas with the $3000 you will save. No timing belt to replace. Has Timing chain. More powerful than the Tacoma. Does not a funky transmission that down shifts while going down hill at low speeds. Toyota does....read morehide

I traded a Silverado for this truck. I have more horse power better performance and reliability than the Chevy and the Chevy had a V-8. You really have to drive one to understand the performance that comes from the Frontier it will amaze you when you step on the gas make turns and brake where other truck's just CAN'T. Oh ya I have a 20 gallon tank and when I go on a long trip on the interestate I have a 500 mile range to a tank of gas, hows that for gas mileage in a truck....read morehide
