I wanted a base Toyota but happened to test drive one in the rain, No intermittent wipers and wasn't too happy about the price to get them. I tested this and it had everything I wanted in a base truck. I think the truck is put together very well.

Pros

This truck is great. Looks, feel, not too big, not too small, and much cheaper than the Toyota Tac.

I am yet to find something I don't like about it, only had it for 176 miles so far, so still brand n

Here is the deal, I needed to get into a small size truck, wanted decent gas mileage, and something that was a step up from the ford ranger I had previously. The ranger gave too many transmission problems, so that was something which needed to out of the question.

I really liked the looks of the Toyota Tacoma, but was not going to afford a new one, no way. Also, the $10k price range I set for a used one was going to get me one with 100k plus miles, and not have the large tires etc... or it would have to be a beat up used truck. That was not a good option either.

So, my father went and looked at the frontiers, then he told me to do the same. Great move, great decision it turns out.

The new Frontier King Cab SE, with the power package I got is Black. it looks very slick. Nice chrome bumpers on both sides which looks so much better than the plastic Ford Ranger is putting out these days. Also, the tires are of perfect size. There is nothing that needs to be done to the truck, except I am putting in a bedliner on the bed next week.

As for the price, I paid $18,518 out the door including taxes, reg, etc...
So with that, I was pretty happy, I had a quote from another dealership here in the Bay Area for three hundred below that, but that truck was a different color and did not have the $1080 power package option, so I felt I received a great deal.

So far, the driving is better than I expected. Since test driving it, I am starting to like it more and more everyday. I plan to drive it to the moon, so something like 277,000 miles or so....read morehide
