I've only had my Versa 2 weeks, but absolutely love it! Love the seats, and how it sits higher up.
Nit picking, I'm only getting @ 24mpg, hope that will go up. Miss the center console, but that's probably more habit than need.
I did take it up a steep grade and it not only flew, but was totally silent.
I drove the Accent, Coablt and a PT Cruiser and this feels lightyears better. My first Nissan and I couldn't be happier!...read morehide

I just bought a 2009 Versa Hatchback in metallic blue, this is my first purchase of a brand new car, the others I've purchased have been used. I was driving a 2000 Ranger and was getting 15 miles to the gallon but with the Versa I've been averaging 33 mph...what a difference!! The car rides so smooth my friends and everyone that rides in it, compliants on how it makes almost no noise!
The Car has more room than you think from the outside. And can fit 5 people in the car with no problem. The only thing about the car is the cheap hubcaps the car comes with, but thats the only thing ive found bad on the car. Great car, Great Price!...read morehide

I bought the 2009 Hatchback. I drive about 50 minutes to work one way every day. I have averaged about 30 mpg combined highway and other types of driving that I do. Overall it is a very good car. However, the hubcaps have not held up too well. The clips that hold them onto the wheel broke by just taking them off to change a flat tire. The Nissan dealer says I'm not the only one having this problem. Other than that the car is great....read morehide

everything was great about this car i could go 2 weeks before having to fill the tank for 20 bucks, very eays to park turning radius is very good and at 15k and i haven't had a problem yet. No arm rest between two center seats but dont let that get in the way of buying this car new or used.

Super commute car fun to drive Great milage 26 MPG in town over 30 on HWY. the one time I took it on Trip. It is what it is roomy, fun to drive, SUPER brakes, antilock, great pickup. Happy driving folks

Have driven the versa hatchback for about 1600mi so far. I average 36 MPG. About 75% of my driving is highway and 25% is city. The interior is very nice with comfortable seats that hold you snug. My only con would be that the ratio between the gears are too close. Once I am moving I can shift from 2nd to 4th and 4th to 6th without much hesitation when I have the rpm's above 2500 and I am not demanding quick acceleration from the engine. I'm sure if Nissan had put more space between the gear ratios, the versa would have better MPG. The ride is very comfortable and handles very nice for the size of the car. If you are looking for a hatchback, this is not a bad choice....read morehide

i drive from LA to sacramento in only 1 full tank of gas thats how efficient my nissan versa is!!! for those people who said that versa is not fuel efficient maybe you should check first how you drive maybe its your manner of driving that coz. u to spend more gas
