Excellent little car! I traded in my old Caddy for this in the "Cash for Clunkers" program. Paid a little over $6000 for it. It is SO worth the money. I thought I would be very uncomfortable going from such a large car to a small car but the transition has been painless! Plenty of headroom and legroom in both the front and back. Wonderful car!...read morehide

I purchased this model with the 6-speed manual transmission and the power package in 08. I love this car! I like the manual because it allows me to accelerate quicker and also save my brakes going downhill. The power package is amazing and makes the car feel like its much more expensive compared to other cars of the same class. This was my first vehicle purchase and I'm completely happy with it!...read morehide

bought this car brand new, october 2008 and have enjoyed it ever since. Fuel usuage is crazy good. can drive to Atlanta from Kentucky on a full tank and a gallon. and is very spacious. Good Car to invest in. Had a chevy cavalier before, but the nissan versa blows it out of the water.

I've had the car since Jan. of this year and I feel that it's very reliable and doesn't waste too much fuel. It's a smooth ride and very comfy too. I've driven only 4,500 miles on it, but already it feels like I'm going to be driving this for many years to come (granted it's proper services)....read morehide

We've only had the Versa a few days but the first thing that drew us in was the comfort and leg room. My husband and sons are all over 6' and they commented on there being TOO MUCH leg room in the back (I didn't think that was possible!) The front seats have great lower back support and don't get too hot in this Tucson heat.
The drive is very smooth and extremely quiet. Also, we had the windows tinted dark which helped the overall appearance....read morehide

I really have been happy with this car. It's fun to drive and very convienent for city driving. The car gets great gas mileage and it's surprisingly comfortable and roomy for its size. The backseat has as much room as a full size sedan. I was also surprised by the smoothness and quitness of the ride this car provides. The pickup can be a bit slow, especially on the freeway, but once you get up to speed it's a great ride, not the "go-cart" type ride I was expecting....read morehide

I purchased a Versa 3 weeks ago, and I must say I am a Nissan Versa fan for life! It takes only 20 dollars to fill up the tank (at least for me), it tells you when your tire pressure is low and when you or a passenger is not wearing his or her seat belt, and for a small car it has a lot of interior and head room. Originally I was a Kia fanatic, but now I see why Nissan is given great reviews. If you are a first-time buyer like I am and prefer a small car, this is the car for you!...read morehide

Just brought home a new 1.8S sedan with the 6 sp manual tranny a couple of days ago, so this is written based on only about 200 miles with no comment about reliability. So far, I'm favorably impressed. The room inside is enormous, much more people room than the SUV we traded in and the trunk is a decent size for a small car. It drives pretty well, the engine has enough grunt to make it easy to drive around town or on the highway. Its not fast, but the gear ratios are such that it can move briskly when needed, something that's much easier to achieve with the manual.
Can't stand automatics myself and I'm no fan of CVTs either, but the manuals are harder to find. Couldn't find a manual hatchback within 250 miles so we went for the sedan instead. Some complain about the sedan's styling. I'm not sure why. Sure its a little funky, but not that bad and besides I can't tell when I'm sitting on the inside! Now a Dodge Caliber, that is one visually offensive vehicle - the Versa's slightly clumsy appearance doesn't hold a candle to that paragon of hideosity. What I do appreciate in the Versa is the tall roof line that makes it all so spacious in the cabin. The seating position is relatively high too, so visibility is excellent. The only minor complaint is that the seats are a bit lacking in support, especially in the lower back. Nothing a small cushion can't solve, however.
The value on these things right now is unreal. Nissan's May incentives include 2 grand off Versas and there's no need to pay more than a little over invoice to begin with. It might not be as tight handling as the Fit, but I'll keep the 3 grand difference thanks....read morehide

I chose Versa over Yaris and Fit. the engine is smarter, helps to get most out of the gas, six CD changer, included in SL model, toyota and honda dont offer one. Bluetooth also included in SL, which is not offered by neither Toyota or Honda, unless you upgrade or pay more.
on the freeway milage surprised me when I took the trip to LA. I only stopped for once to fill up the tank, but i realized I was already in LA then. I drove 600 miles in one full tank without any stop. gave me atleast 40 mpg....read morehide

I bought this car and love every minute of it. The ride is great, the fuel cost is insanely low (I had a Jeep), and a very nice looking car overall. The SL I have is bluetooth capable, has 6 CD in dash, and MP3 ready. The alloy rims are gorgeous, the interior is more spacious than the eye would think. Overall, I would recommend this vehicle its a great buy, and you'll save on gas!...read morehide
