Bought the Versa Hatchback as a replacement to my Nissan Frontier V6 truck. Needed something smaller, more economical to make my many travels from FL to North GA. The Frontier is a great truck, but gas mileage was bad. I took the Versa on my first trip (about 1,700 mi round trip), last week and was very, very impressed. Comfortable car, big inside, nice peppy engine (1.8L), good overall road manners, quiet at highways speeds (70 - 80), and great mileage. I am very impressed by the quality and ride of this Nissan. Tired of spending big $ to travel in your gas guzzler? Try this one, you will like it....read morehide

I love it, it is just the perfect car for me. I would buy it again. Interior salon is really room and luxurious for its class. Car is really reliable and fuel efficent.

Minor problem with automatic door locks but resolved at dealership. Tires filled with nitrogen for free by dealer give great ride.

Just brought home a new 1.8S sedan with the 6 sp manual tranny a couple of days ago, so this is written based on only about 200 miles with no comment about reliability. So far, I'm favorably impressed. The room inside is enormous, much more people room than the SUV we traded in and the trunk is a decent size for a small car. It drives pretty well, the engine has enough grunt to make it easy to drive around town or on the highway. Its not fast, but the gear ratios are such that it can move briskly when needed, something that's much easier to achieve with the manual.
Can't stand automatics myself and I'm no fan of CVTs either, but the manuals are harder to find. Couldn't find a manual hatchback within 250 miles so we went for the sedan instead. Some complain about the sedan's styling. I'm not sure why. Sure its a little funky, but not that bad and besides I can't tell when I'm sitting on the inside! Now a Dodge Caliber, that is one visually offensive vehicle - the Versa's slightly clumsy appearance doesn't hold a candle to that paragon of hideosity. What I do appreciate in the Versa is the tall roof line that makes it all so spacious in the cabin. The seating position is relatively high too, so visibility is excellent. The only minor complaint is that the seats are a bit lacking in support, especially in the lower back. Nothing a small cushion can't solve, however.
The value on these things right now is unreal. Nissan's May incentives include 2 grand off Versas and there's no need to pay more than a little over invoice to begin with. It might not be as tight handling as the Fit, but I'll keep the 3 grand difference thanks....read morehide

I bought this car brand new 3 weeks ago. It is so spacious compared to my old 1993 Chevrolet Geo Prizm. It is incredibly roomy inside. Great big front & back windows, huge trunk. The car is raised up a bit and makes you feel like you're riding in an SUV compared to a small car sedan. It towers over other cars in the parking lots. The fuel economy is great, I've been driving 3 weeks now and the full tank of gas my dealership gave me finally reached half way. The engine is so quiet once started you almost can't tell it's even running. Great big headlights help light the way at night. My car is the superblack with black interior, floor mats, cd/radio purchased new for around $12,000. Feels like driving a higher priced car for an affordable price. Worth every penny! Purchased at Peruzzi Nissan Fairless Hills, PA....read morehide

Versa! A.K.A Tiida! This car looks small, aint that sporty, aint big, SUV's can flash their lights behind along the road. Beware!... Versa or Tiida is different. You can judge whats in the outside, but have you driven it yet? have you driven it on rough roads? have you tried loaded it with 5 passengers and still managed to speed up to 170-195 Kilometers per hour w/o vibration or waggling of wheels? Nope right?? well, i have tried it and believe me this car performs like a Hybrid Mitsu Evolution, Roar like a Toyota land cruiser and even drifted it like an eight-six of akina. what else would i want??? the best thing is the price is very affordable. Versa Lives Forever and has a good resale value. Ive tried SUV's, sports cars and etc. but ive never felt good and comfortable as NISSAN VERSA SEDAN!!! Its a roomy family car, that has a secret engine power under the hood. believe me, this is the type of vehicle that you want to passed from generation to generation. Right now i dont have anymore worries about driving through wet roads, rough roads, traffic, and etc. i have everything i can find in a new Nissan Versa 2009....read morehide

I got the Magnetic gray and charcoal cloth...automatic, power pack, cruise. mats, splash guards and abs as options. I get 33 mpg AVERAGE city/hwy... 38 on the freeway. I chose this car over the Honda Fit because the ride feels larger, more power, bigger wheels, and the fuel economy is much better. The dash is great, seats are absolutely the most comfortable of any car and the rear seat is like a couch. Feels and is a huge car inside. I drove every car in the market and the Nissan Versa is definitely the best one out there. With the dealer discount and the rebate I ended up buying my Versa for $13,940 + tax....read morehide
