Loved the 9-7x so much, I bought two of them. It is a shame that it had only a few years of production. A solid alternative to the other GM vehicles that share the platform. Nicely refined, not that much more money if you are willing to look for the best deal.

We picked up our 5.3i Arc off-lease, meaning that for $18.5k, we picked up a low-mile, fully loaded luxury SUV that 3 years ago cost someone else $45k. How can you beat that value? The powertrain is bulletproof, the chassis is proven, and there's not many on the road, so you're sure to turn heads. The list of cons is small: inadequate interior storage (especially around the driver), no sunglass holder, and no power liftgate (it's heavy). Other than that, it's smart looking vehicle that's an amazing value on the pre-owned market....read morehide

This vehicle is AWESOME. This is the first Saab we have owned and we love it. We got rid of our 4-Runner Sport Edition (which we loved) and we both like the Saab much better. It has great acceleration and handles very nice. It is a very comfortable ride...very smooth drive. I love the Bose touch screen audio system w/ navigation and XM. It is very loud with alot of custom settings. I wish it was a 6-Disc changer but oh well...not too big of deal. It also lacks an MP3 aux port. We have not had it that long but so far we love it. We would highly recommend a test drive....read morehide

Some think this isn't good in the snow- it is the tires. Throw snows on and you have an instant tank (it isn't bad as it sits either). Cup holders are a bit small, but who really cares? Overall, this vehicle is very well equipped: heated seats, roof, six disk Bose system, and memory seats⦠the works. Extremely great value for the money! A great vehicle!...read morehide

This SUV is an excellent value for the money. the comfort level is supreme and the quality is excellent. I have driven fords and lincolns in the past and none of those compare to the 97-x. The performance is exceptional, and I only have the 5.3i. I can't imagine what the 6.0i is like. this vehicle has a secure and stable feel to it as you take on different driving streets and highways. My neighbors are always looking and waving as I drive by. They are curious but are too shy to as what I am driving. I will conclude by saying that I had become bored with the various styled SUV until I saw the 97-x. Will I buy another, YES I WILL....read morehide

Do not lease a vehicle with GMAC- the turn in process is very complicated. Overall, the vehicle was a poor choice- from the quality, maintenance, cost, gas mileage and trade in value. Only 2 years old and has lost 75% of it's value.

Great SUV no problems so far with 9 months of ownership. Looks and feels very European with the hot Vette engine to make it very fast and smooth. I love driving this car and can't wait to get inside it every morning going to work and slide that key into the SAAB slot between the seats and hear the roar it makes. Handling is sportscar like as well as acceleration. Good European feel on the inside with SAAB character everywhere. Lot's of space in the back w/ a huge trunk. This is one special SUV which brings lot's of happy driving and enjoyment....read morehide

The 97x is a trail blazer underneath, Escalade time inside and Saab badges. I like my 97x but we have had a few problems. Air suspension, fuel sending unit, headliner, all have been repaired under warranty. Saab has been great; they have even given us rental cars twice, and covered something that was damaged by the former owner. The gas mileage is 15.5 with mixed driving, I have never seen it out of the 15teens, I am not sure where the 20mpg come form they claim. Don't get me wrong I like this car but it is not with out its faults. This is the car to buy, if you are looking for a trial blazer and want something much more sophisticated...read morehide

This is supposed to be a European luxury vehicle but its quality is poor. I've had the vehicle for 7 months. There were problems with the differential. When I first take off in the morning it feels and sounds like the transmission is slipping. The rear wiper literally fell apart.
It's a Trailblazer with expensive trim....read morehide
