I've owned my Outlook for ten months. Drives like a big car and handles nicely. Very comfortable interior, even for back seats. Tows my one ton small RV with lots of authority. All controls and functions are logical and not too complicated. AWD not as smooth as my Audi. It always slips even on rain while accelerating on a corner from a stop. I live in Alaska and drive only AWD's. I'm guessing for a vehicle this big the AWD is at least average or better. Transmission shifting is not the smoothest. Red paint scratches really easy. I don't think I'm getting the 16mpg rating in city. Overall very nice ride....read morehide

I have had my outlook for about a year. (which is my 4th Saturn) And Love it! I have taken it on 2 long road trips with my 2 children, and it is great that they each have thier own seat. There is alot of room and my husband doesn't even mind driving it, and he is a truck man! I would say if your are in the market for a bigger SUV give the Outlook at test drive. You will not be sorry that you did! :)...read morehide

very good priced in comparison. smooth ride, and i love the look over any crossover out there including the acadia . don't like the headrest and not a big fan of the transmission; the power really drops off in 3rd gear so you have to really put your foot in it before it hits 4th. and Where's the battery? You have to remove one of those 18 inch tires to get to it...that will cost 180 dollars each to replace.
still yet===i am looking at trading my clunker for another one....read morehide

The Outlook is an awsome vehicle and I have no complaints. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever been in and I believe that Saturn did a great job designing the 2009 Outlook. But, I will give them some advice, and that advice is to put the Relay back on the market due to the fact of its great performance and durabilty. Please, PUT THE RELAY BACK ON THE MARKET!!!
Thanks!...read morehide

I traded in my Ford Expedition for the Saturn Outlook due to the poor gas mileage with the Expedition. The Outlook by far gets better gas mileage. The Outlook's third row converts extremely easy and gives me lots of storage space. I have much more leg room in the all areas of the vehicle versus what I had in the Expedition. My 6"2' nephews can sit in the third row comfortably which they couldn't do in my previous car. I gave up some of the luxuries that came with the Eddie Bauer version of the Expedition but I gained a much better Entertainment Package (DVD) with my Outlook....read morehide

I love this vehicle! I have had a car all my life. Peppy big cars, like your Grand Prix kinda car...but this, this impressed me! The pick up is quick and so smooth, the ride is silent, I just love this SUV. This was my first "new" car, I bought it as "used" because a rental company had it for like 3 months then auctioned it off. Very low miles, awesome deal, still under warranty, I couldn't refuse! And I don't regret a thing. I love it, the cargo is massive, the back seat is comfortable for full grown adults, you couldn't as for more. This is a secret that people need to hear about. This is a great purchase....read morehide

I was very impressed with this car from the moment I test drove it. It has a roomy and comfortable interior. I love the captains chairs for the kids.(Need to keep them seperated) It has so much cargo room - even with the third row seats up. I am so happy with the back up camera. It does take some time to get used to looking at the camera and it's backing up space. There are so many options you can get with this vehicle. My children love thier own sunroof. It has an automatic starter which warms the car up nicely. My favorite part of the car is the bluetooth option. I can talk hands free using my own phone. You have to drive one to believe it!...read morehide

My first Saturn, and I couldn't be happier! Being an SUV-freak, I find this to be a roomy SUV, definitely not minivan'ish. HUGE cargo space, great heating and AC and just love the Skylight and the sunroof. Engine is sooo quiet. 6'3" tall hubby can actually put the driver's seat back too far... Extremely comfortable to drive and ride in. Thrilled with my Outlook!...read morehide

Besides Outlook sibling sister product, i did in depth comparison with Pilot, Highlander, as well other close competitors in its class, the closest competitor is Highlander. Reason why i picked Outlook:
Roomy Space i) Largest cargo area among all. ii) 2nd row seating, fit 3 adults comfortably. iii) Adult size 3rd row seat, largest leg room.
Smooth Ride i) Handling like car, smooth
Gas Mileage i) It has minivan cargo room but passenger car gas consumption. ii) Highway mileage, with one full tank, it ran up to 518 miles. It translate to 23.5 mpg
I am not sure if other crossovers in its class could offer similar luxurious...read morehide

We have had this car for over a year and we love it! We have five grandsons and this has pleny of room to do road trips with them. The ride is smooth and comfy, and a good fit for my husband who is tall and usually drives a truck. I hope they don't discontinue this model, as my daughter is looking into buying one next year....read morehide
