I really love my car and it does measure up to the highway mileage they advertise. I'm even happier that going green is helping to reduce air pollution

Here is our last review and promised update at 6000 miles.
MPG around town; 27-28.5 depending on traffic density and stop lights.
Highway MPG 36-37. Measured over several long haul trips, criuse set at 64.
Did have a great day with almost 41 MPG last month with a strong tail wind. (honest) Steady 20-30 MPG winds on the trunk while on a 200 trip on the Interstate. (RARE but cool!)
Very comfortable riding on 12 hour driveing legs.
Drove 1,486 over two days and used 41 gal. of gas.
Good Luck....read morehide

I am writing my second review now that there is 2100 miles on the 2009 Vue Hybrid.
Fuel mileage is as advertised. 28 city-33 highway (w/ A/C on). I am suspecting a little better highway with out the A/C.
Trouble free ownership so far. Extremely pleased with this vehicle.
A memo to folks who tow a auto behind a RV:
The HYBRID VUE can be towed just as the other Vues.
Several Dealers have told potential Hybrid buyers that this is not recommended, or that it can NOT be done. WRONG!
The owners manual contained all of the instructions on how to set the vehicle up for towing mode and it's simple. No additional modifications necessary.
The owners manual does state that towing should be limited to 65 MPH
with no limitation on miles.
I am towing this Hybrid and all is well.
It does not register mileage on the odometer while being towed.
ROAD MASTER TOWING SYSTEMS have the tow bars, front brackets and the wiring process is typical.
One of the primary reasons for purchasing the Vue was its ability to be towed....read morehide

Honeymoon review. Just picked the VUE up yesterday. On a 27 mile trip from the dealer to home 29.7 mpg. Everything works too!
first ten miles were metro driving with stoplight every mile with heavy traffic, the remainer was interstate drove 62 mph.
29.7 is terrific. That is exactly double what we are getting on the Grand Cherkee V8 that we traded in on the same road course.
More reports in 5K miles or so. We are VERY HAPPY right now....read morehide
