Even with 17?? rims the highway handling is not crisp. The inline 4 engine is busy but generates adequate hp, especially with a manual transmission. Rear legroom is more than generous and seats are comfortable. Rear buckets are not designed to keep a car seat safely in place though. Rear pillars are so wide they create major blind spots. No rear wiper is also a negative. But the car is reliable, gets decent mileage ~25 mpg (city/hw), and you can?t beat the value. I paid 18K for mine (tax included). My only dealer option was fog lights. Do not put any options on the car. You can buy all the accessories in the aftermarket at 50-60% off the dealer price.
