I have had my STI for about 1 month. I luv this car. I wanted buy a fun to drive car -great choice. Getting about 18mpg in intellegent mode . Sport sharp mode will drink up some gas but the adrenaline rush is like no other. Plenty of room in the inside for the family too.

I was intending to buy the Legacy GT Spec B but couldn't afford it at the time. I really needed a new car so we looked at the 2009 WRX's as I remember reading about the improvements made to them. The first few times taking it out weren't too much fun as I was no expert at driving a manual car. But now that I have my down shifting down after owning the car for 4 months, I LOVE this car. The heated seats work better than the ones I had in my previous car with leather seats. I love the dash and I finally have a car with an ipod jack. This car takes cloverleaf onramps with such ease and speed, it's hard not to take them doing 50 instead of the posted 30. The fuel economy I average is anywhere between 22 and 24 mpg. And that's in stop and go traffic with some freeway driving mixed in. If you're easy on the gas, it'll be easy on your wallet. But even if you slam your right foot to the floor and have a little fun, it won't kill you. My old car with about 40 less horsepower ate more gas than this thing does....read morehide
