I picked up my Subaru Legacy 3.0R on September 7th and loving it! I previously owned a Infiniti G20, 5speed, loved the car, but was sorta sluggish. After I purchased a 2006 Honda Accord EXLV6 manual tansmission and it was definitely a sweet car. After taking ownership of my Honda, I did have to get my drivers side window repaired, front brake pads replaced and on my LED lights went (all within the first 6 months). Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed in the beginning, but afterwards it was great! I've driven manual transmissions all my life and now it was time to get into an automatic, so I went with the Subaru. I was tossing between the IS250 and the Legacy, the IS250 is sharp, but WAY too small and if you read the reviews, not as great as the reviews i've read about the Subaru Legacy on here....I was amazed! So far the car has been great, have a bit over 1,500 miles and it's SO solid, nicely built, it's weird when accelerating, but that must be because of the AWD, takes a while to get used to it. I purchased the car at Flemingon Subaru (NJ) and they were wonderful! The gas mileage isn't as great as the Honda, but not by far, especially considering it's an AWD. Also, the real nice thing is that you don't see too many Legacy's on the road, so it does stand out on the road. I purchased a Newport Blue Pearl with a Cream Leather interior....BEAUTFUL!
I would definitely go with another Subaru, the buying experience was so nice and easy going!! I walked into a Lexus dealer and it was a totally different feeling. Thanks Subaru!!!...read morehide

After an exhaustive search for the right AWD sedan, I purchased a 2009 Legacy 3.0R Limited. This car has about 250 HP and every feature one could ask for- leather, nav, satellite radio, 18" wheels, 6 disk CD, AWD, sport suspension, paddle shifters on the leather wrapped wheel- and on and on. But besides the impressive laundry list of what's on board is the intangiable: This car is a smooth rocket. I have never experienced pickup or torque like I do on this Subaru. There is a reason multiple reviews compare this to the BMW 3 series and Acura TL. And it's $20,000 less! Bought mine for $23000 (a steal) a month before the '10s come out. If you can get your hands on one, this is one amazing car....read more...read morehide
