Vibration and Groaning Noise - Safety issues.

My brand new 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Reg Cab vibrates excessively from 55 to 70 mph and makes a loud grouning noise. The truck nearly ran off the road when a loud sceeching noise occured at 65mph. This probably caused when the rear differential tried to engage by itself. The radio goes on the off at will and I suspect other serious electrical and mechanical problems. The Toyota field rep insists this is normal. This is my fourth Tacoma and the others were flawless.

Bought this truck last week. Double Cab, TRD Sport. Got an awesome deal. Had plenty of accessories added at the dealership. I am still finding features that I like about the truck. Used the 4X4 for the first time this morning in the snow and worked like a champ. Plenty of power for towing. I am amazed at the room inside this truck. Traveled with five comfortably. Very happy with truck. I just wish Toyota would add power seat options and put the remote for the door on the key itself....read morehide

A bit expensive for a mid-size but you get what you pay for. Toyota really delivers.

2009 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Sport package. I can't believe I waited this long to buy a Toyota. My previous truck was a 2000 Chevy S-10 4x4 and there's no comparison to the Tacoma. Driving this truck will help you understand why GM and the rest of the big three are suffering while Toyota moves forward.

At 70 mph on the interstate you can hear a whisper inside the truck, very quiet. The four wheel drive system works flawlessly along with the traction control system. You can't spin the wheels if you try....read morehide

This truck, with the SR5, TRD Sport package is everything I could have hoped for in a mid-sized truck. I traded in my 06 Frontier for this truck and can't believe what I have been missing. The truck rides super quiet and has super tight steering. The look turns heads and I find myself getting out earlier in the morning just to take a ride in it....read morehide
