The interior colors and the materials look cheesy. 4-Cyl Engine is a bit noisy.

This vehicle has been great so far ( 2 months and about 2,500 miles). Toyota makes great cars and this seems to be in line with the tradition. The gas mileage is great, and it is super roomy. Did I mention sharp looking too?

I'm having issues with the dash on this car. There many pieces to the dash and several are coming up, the speaker covers near windshield are coming up, the large piece covering the screeen read out in the middle of the dash and the dash piece near the front heat vents. Toyota didn't think this one through. The dealer is intimidated with taking the whole dash apart to fix these problems, I am too, Take this dash apart and they will never get it back together again and functioning properly. I also have a random clicking noise (sounds electrical) in the cabin, driving me crazy!) Can't exactly figure out were it's coming from. I would not reccomend this vehicle until Toyota works out the bugs, say 3 yrs. form now. I came out of an Acura TL - I think I need to go back to Acura....read morehide

1,l000 miles into my 2009 4cyl AWD. Absolutely no quality or reliability issues. 4cyl has surprisingly good pickup and power. I put a hitch on myself - 4 factory threaded holes and 2 factory conectors... took about 20 minutes to install. Tows my 3500 rig at highway speed. Plenty of torque to get out of the mud. No problems, just great performance overall. I'm suspicious of the 5W-20 or even 0W-20 oil specification - think I'll use 10w-30 for all changes, as the specified stuff is like water and can't be good for engine life. What a great vehicle for about 10 grand less than the equivalent lexus and 20 grand less than the Mercedes. Fit and finish excellent and lots of included goodies. I liked this vehicle from the first time I saw it. I have always been a die-hard Chevy person. I searched the internet reviews, specs, and looks of several different vehicles when I decided to trade in my Chevy Colorado. I bought the Venza in June '09 after test driving it (3 different times). I have the 4 cylinder and love it. I have made several trips and generally get between 27 and 32 mpg. I have been able to make a tank last for almost 2 weeks when I'm not traveling. It is very roomy, quiet, and handles well. I love all the little storage places. My only con about the entire vehicle so far is the blind spot at the two rear corners of the car. I have had to purchase magnifiers for the side mirrors so I can see who is coming up beside me. Turning my head and looking is not enough this time. I, too, get looks and stares driving. I love it. I have even had 1 couple ask to see the interior, because they were getting ready to start looking for a new car(glad it was clean)....read morehide

I have had my Venza for 3 months and have put 5,000 miles on it so far. So far no complaints. I purchased the 4 cylinder version as fuel economy was important to me. Originally I wanted to purchase a Toyata Prius but after test driving and looking at it I realized it didn't have enough space. I needed a SUV type vehicle with plenty of cargo space for my business. I looked at several different vehicles including the 2010 Subaru Outback and Honda CR- V. After test driving the Venza I knew I had to have it. I was able to take advantage of the Cash for Clunkers program, trading in my fuel-inefficient Honda Passport for $4500. The interior of the Venza is spacious and ultra comfortable with plenty of room for my work equipment. The Venza isn't exactly the most exciting car to drive and the steering seems a little loose but all in all it's exactly what I need. Lots of cargo space, good gas mileage for a car it's size, reliable, and super comfy to drive. I average about 22 MPG in City driving and have gotten up to 32 MPG on the highway! I get lots of compliments on my car and I highly recommend it!...read morehide

I purchased this car and it is great! I am disabled and it is just the right hieght for me to get in and out without needing help. Remote start along with so many other amenities are standard. Love being able to switch from automatic to manual makes going through the Angeles National Forest a breeze....read morehide

Love the vehicle. I can load equipment easily and have room to spare. It has the convience of a truck, but the look and feel of a car. Especially like the automatic hatch open and close and the touch of the door handle to automatically unlock the vehicle.

4 cylinder has great fuel efficiency and adequate power. This car will turn heads and many people are curious about it. We love the carbon wood trim that comes with cloth seats which are very comfortable as well as the smooth quiet ride. This car drives like a Lexus for a fraction of the price.
