Amazing fuel economy in town and on the highway. Roomy interior, and a great cost.

Cons

Nothing really. Handling is very, very sharp, so it takes some getting used to.

Purchased As New

This is the first new car I've ever purchased. I debated for a long time if I should go with the Yaris over other entry level high miles per gallon cars. This car is amazingly cute (this coming from a straight guy). Granted, it's not the macho vehicle you might have hoped for, but me and my friends broke it in with a road trip here recently. I managed to squeeze almost 300 miles out of it, and it still had a quarter of a tank to go. It was roomy enough that my friends, our stuff, and I were able to travel in comfort. The car heats up / cools off super quick due to it's smaller design. Sometimes the windows can fog up pretty fast on you, but it's easy enough to compensate for. I would highly recommend that if this is something you want, that you go for the little extras: Cruise Control, Power Locks & Windows, and Anti-Lock Brakes. I recommend this for anyone who wants to have a nice looking car that gets amazing gas mileage for a cheap price. Kudos to Toyota, I'm gonna drive this thing forever.
