This is a fabulous car for the money. We compared BMW 325 and 328, Audi A5 Coupe, and Mercedes CLK 550 all in the price range of $45,000 to $79,000. The VW CC beat them all except the Mercedes for comfort, ride and handling. But at half the price the CC was a pretty close. We had a Lexus 450 SC before. The CC corners better, and has a smoother ride. Ok, not as much power. The Lexus had a V-8 but the 4 cyl engine is plenty of power 0 -60 in 7.6 seconds and we get 30 -31 mpg on the highway. One second vs much better gas mileage. That's a fair trade off and we don't get to burn as much imported oil....read morehide

I bought this car new, and since a month ago I did not see one like mine on the streets. I really love the 4 seats idea, since I am single and I don't have a lot to cary with me. It is an executive's car, and it levels for business but also gives you that homy feeling too ! I love it ,but as a new relationship we cross swords some times :)) I wish I would've got the GPS, and all the little extras on it....read morehide

I just bought a CC sport brand new and absolutely love it! Every part of this car blends well with the next.....the two tone interior was designed perfectly and looks wonderful with the white gold exterior color! There are a few silver colored pieces throughout the interior I think could have matched a little better with the beige and black but other than that, there is nothing about this car to complain about whatsoever! I do prefer manual transmissions on cars and wish VW would offer the sport trim with the bi-xenon headlights and also the panoramic sunroof while still keeping the manual transmission. I was amazed however to find out the car I purchased has the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), something VW advertises only on the VR6 versions. It is definitely a cool feature. I am 6'1" as are most of my friends and loved the head and leg room in the back seat. I can fit very comfortably behind the drivers seat with it being almost all the way back.....a definite plus!!!!! I would tell anyone interested in purchasing a CC to certainly do so!...read morehide

I purchased the CC about a month ago, and have been thoroughly impressed. It's very unique styling gets lots of raves. It is an outstanding highway cruiser - very quiet, with highway mileage hitting 33 mpg on my last two 500 mile trips, while averaging 70 mph! (That is above the rated mileage of 29). The stereo is easy to operate and the optional nav system is easy to use.
I got the base engine, 200 hp turbo, which has more than enough pep and is fun to drive. The handling feels germanic. Inside appointments and two tone leather get lots of compliments and the seats are very comfortable. No trouble with front leg room for me and I'm 6'4".
The windows are a bit funky. They crack open when you unlock the car to allow for entry - as the windows are frameless. Takes a bit to get used to.
So far, so good - looks great, rides nicely, very fuel efficient and fun to drive. No need to upgrade to the V6. Keep the costs down around 33k with the luxury package on the base engine....read morehide

Car looks greats, handles really well, the VR6 is under powered and might need a little bit of help, the interior is nicer than a 5 series, there aren't many cars in this class that would compare, specially the materials and feel of the interior. Please make sure that if you get once and need a blue tooth that you demand from the dealer the blue tooth brand and not the VW brand as they work a little different and besides the factory one is $200 compared to the dealer one which is over $400....read morehide

My lease on my BMW330xi is coming due and I took the cc for a long drive to evaluate it. The styling, inside and out, is impressive, especially with the 2-tone interior, and it is well equiped. Very Italian (a good thing). My BMW (which I love) seemed almost stodgy conservative in contrast. But we have 5 senses and my beemer delivers on 4 (I haven't tasted my car), the VW on 2.5 (it is as fast as my beemer and handles as well but is definitely not as refined). But the question is: at what cost? I will not move down to a 328xi and the 335xi is way too expensive compared to my 330xi ($5.5K more than my 330xi, comparably equiped). If VW gets the pricing right (and it looks like they can) 2.5 may beat 4. Dynaudio is nice. It is not Logic 7, however. The VW reminds me of my 1999 Audi A6 with the power my A6 needed but did not have....read morehide

Test drove this car today and was really impressed. Base engine is strong, transmission is smooth fit and finish seem really good. Again, I only test drove so take from this what you will.

Found mine in So. Ca.(Van Nuys) and had them ship it to No. Ca. It seems to be the first around! Then I saw another yesterday, bummer. It's nice when you are the one and only. I luv the car, it looks so HOT! Drives like no VW I have ever driven. I had to get it from a dealer in Van Nuys, they arranged the shipping and all. I never went to the dealer, that's the best. They had the carrier drop it at my front door, all of my neighbors were there, it was great! Go VW!...read morehide
