I bought this car at a dealershop in Van Nuys of Los Angeles Aug. 15, 2009. But 3 or 4 days after I took it home, I had to turn it in the service center to fix the remote door lock system. Again 17 days later after the delivery date with less than 900 miles driven, I had to turn it in the service center to fix the engine problem. I requested to cancel the purchase contract, but it was rejected. I had never imagined that a new car has this kinds of quality problem....read morehide

Great Fuel Economy, Great Ride, Every Accessory you would need

I have a 2006 TDI with 30k on it now. It has been trouble free and is fun to drive. Too bad they don't make the TDI Bug anymore I think it would sell well.

Mine is a 2006 TDI and I get in excess of 50 mpg

Wish they still made it. I would buy another.

I have put high pressure Hybrid tires on it to get the fuel economy I am achieveing. This is my 5th TDI and I got 48+ from all of them. I wish VW would get off of their duffs and come out with a new TDI model. If you want to sell cars then give us what we want not what you want to give us. I would never buy a VW if it wasen't a diesel. Just to tell you a little about myself my other car is a new Bentley Flying Spur....read morehide
