I have put high pressure Hybrid tires on it to get the fuel economy I am achieveing. This is my 5th TDI and I got 48+ from all of them. I wish VW would get off of their duffs and come out with a new TDI model. If you want to sell cars then give us what we want not what you want to give us. I would never buy a VW if it wasen't a diesel. Just to tell you a little about myself my other car is a new Bentley Flying Spur.
