Okay, my family had the Honda Odyssey for four years. Great car, but a little too much $$$. I have driven Volkswagens for years and have been very satisfied. When we heard that they were making a van, we couldn't wait. Still, we wanted to be sure it was the one. When they hit the showrooms in October, we compared the Routan with the Odyssey. It was close, but because of the value and styling, we went with the Routan! My family loves it! We have only seen one other one on the road since we made the purchase in October here in Long Beach, CA. Even the base model is fantastic! Volkswagen has done a great job with this one. Free maintenance is always a good thing! That will save you lots of $$$ over time!
