I bought VW Routan SEL on June. At first, me and my husband loved it so much, About a month and half later, we decided to use this van for our trip to Atlanta with two babies, my sister-in-law, and I'm a 30 weeks pregnant woman. with the experience that we had with that van, that make me think did I made the right choice for my family by buying VW van?! The transmission suddenly ran out on us on the middle of Highway. Good thing is it was late at night, not many vechicles on the Highway. By restarting the engine two times, we made it home safely.
Why I picked VW van among all other vans in the market? I thought they are the most reliable, dependable and safe vechicle for my growing family. Unfortunately, with a bad transmission installed in my new van, I didn't see how safe and dependable the van is.
But anyway, I wish whoever want to buy VW Routan won't have the experience that i had. Wish you luck.
