Love my new 2010 RL. The NAV is so much easier than my old Lexus. This one is far quicker than the 2007 I test drove before I bought a GS.

I had an 06, loaded that I loved. I sold it two months ago and bought a 2010. The redo has the new nose and a classier wood grain finish inside as well as a USB port and better torque. My RL is smooth and quiet and though it is not as quick as the TL I nearly bought, I like the ride much better as the TL is way too sport tuned for my taste. The sound system is terrific and the NAV is better than any car I have driven. Though the styling is a bit boring, the AWD, NAV and fit and finish make my RL a winner for me anyway....read morehide

I fell in love with the exterior and trusted the name of Acura. Big mistake, this car is way too pricey for what I got. My sister bought a Chevy Malibu and I feel like a fool. I like her car better and my monthly payment is $40 more. All of the interior controls were very difficult to learn, the ride is spongy, and I've had to bring it in to the dealership twice to deal with a intermittent stalling problem....read morehide

Handle well in snow, so far I like the car, but there are some problem, some time door handle sensor does not detect. I had it replace but the color didn't match, I have to take it back twice, trunk some time it keep pop up it seft when I tried to closed it. Navigation need to up date, does not work in some area, and when I ask the dealer, they said I have to buy a new version in a couple month, but the car is brand new, so that not right. Great value especially if you didn't pay sticker. Comparing options to other similar cars, this is thousands less. Seats and heat rests are much better than that of lexus and infiniti.

The RL has fallen behind a bit from the competition. The engine has been upgraded but with 270 lbs of torque in a fairly heavy sedan, it can't be compared to a BMW 535. If it had a 6 or 7 speed transmission that could probably help out with midrange punch but it is stuck with a 5 speed. It does rev higher than you'd expect it to though. And I would never call the RL slow. Compared with the competition though, it does fall behind there. The RL is however a very luxurious ride. Those who drive Lexus LS430s and want a new car should look at this. Its roughly the same size and comes packed with usable technology. The SH-AWD even makes for spirited driving without the jarring sports car ride. I heard a 6 speed is on the way for the RL next year which will not only improve performance, but also fuel economy so I would wait for that to come. The RL really is in its own class now that the LS has grown in power and size. It deserves to be looked at for those considering a Lexus GS or Infiniti M....read morehide
