The Aveo is not loved by critics, but it's really not that bad a little car. If you're looking for something that basically gets you from point A to point B, then the Aveo will be a fine fit for you. The thing about this car is that you NEED to get the cheap-hatchback-base model, no bells or whistles, else you'll feel like you didn't get a deal. Adding all these extras brings the Aveo's price into a range which doesn't make sense for a small car - but if you stick to your guns, like i did, you can get a brand new car for roughly 8,000 - now we're talking value! All i ask from my car is for it to run fine for a few years and not cost much to up keep (basically, no worries) . . . and so far it has delivered. Great choice for Highschool/Collage kids, older folks, singles and couples (Also, keep in mind that the car is cheap so it wont cost much for insurance! Something to think about especially in todays economy)
