In a nutshell I love this car, its great to look at and its got plenty of power. I cant go anywhere without people looking at it and asking me various questions. I ordered it with the 6 speed, which I really like. The one thing I really dislike is the visibility overall, the rear window is pretty much useless. Besides that I think Chevy did a good job. Ive owned 3 Mustangs and loved em all, but I had to have a new Camaro SS....read morehide

I love this car! I am a Camaro lover from old, and this fits perfectly. The ride is great, comfort is super for a sport muscle car! Loaded everything is the only way to go.
My camaro is the V-8 automatic with manual and the power is thrilling, yet it will run the full 185 mph!!!
Smooth as butter!
I get 21 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
It is the best thing Chevy has ever built!! Highly recommend to all!...read morehide

I drive my car 3-4 times a week as my "daily" driver. If it weren't for putting too many miles, I would drive every day. The wrap around feel is awesome, the power is awesome and is scheduled to get better (ordered a supercharger). Paint, power, trim, stereo, fit/finish, are all world class. I love this car!...read morehide

This car is everything a pony car should be. The fit and finish is excellent both for the exterior and interior. GM got it right. Everything about the Camaro that was good is here and everything that was bad was changed. This is a world class sports car.
I can't stand people who judge this car compared to family sedans or little foreign "sports" cars. Of course it's going to sit low and ride a little rough, it supposed to do that. Take it into a sharp corner at 70 and you'll be thankful that sport suspension is there. As far you people and you're dealer problems, switch dealers. I have been treated like a king at my dealer.
The Camaro is back. If you liked it before, you'll love it now. If you didn't like it before either give it another chance or have a good time in your little hybrid. I'll be watching you in my mirror....read morehide

I sat in this car for about 10 minutes at the auto show. It looks good on the outside but once you cross the threshhold and go inside, it reminds you of a cheap K-Mart childs electric car. Surfaces look cheap and if you touch them they squeek. This car will hold it's value for about 3 weeks, then, unless you paid cash for it, you will be upside down until it falls apart and you trade it in for a quality car in 4 years. Nice try Chevy, but I ain't buyin!...read morehide

With the 425 hp V8 the speed and hadling that I expected were there in force. Even with the automatic version you have the option to use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel which is almost as much fun as the 6 speed. I could not be more disapponted on the fit and finish of the interior. One of the main resons to purchase a Camaro in the past over the Mustang (besides the obvious Ford drawbacks) was that the Camaro was much roomier inside. Dont get me wrong my 5 foot 5 wife fit fine in the drivers seat, but her head was hitting the ceiling of the car, so my 6 foot 3 frame had to lean the seat back so far I felt like taking a nap instead of driving. My 2002 Camaro seems much roomier in the seating department, which make me want to keep the older Camaro. The second complaint is the blind spots from the back seat windows. The back seat windows seemed to be an afterthought. They are about a 3 inch triangle for which you have to see out of. If you purchase a new Camaro plan on using your mirrors to back up because you cant turn your head and see out the back of this car....read morehide

I was excited to find that I would be receiving the first 2010 Camaro to hit the local dealer's lot. I have now been driving the 2010 Camaro for over 6 months as a daily driver.
Its looks continue to turn heads, and I like the design of the interior as much as the exterior. I do wish that it had automatic climate control, as it would make the remote start function much more useful to cool down/heat up the interior.
The performance from the V6 is impressive. The visibility is rather limited front and rear. The rear view mirror doesn't adjust well for taller people (I'm 6'2").
The primary problem I have seen is that the design was executed poorly with little quality control. It took only a couple of hundred miles for excitement to turn to frustration.
Here are just a few of the problems that I am still experiencing:
- Paint imperfections: the paint started peeling off of my bumper within 200 miles where the rear bumper attaches to the car. These have turned into 2-3 inch strips of missing paint at the same point of each side of the bumper. Many blemishes in the paint started to appear as soon as I got the car in light. The dealers fix was to offer a bottle of touch-up paint saying "you're the only one that will notice it - most people won't get close enough to even notice"
- Brakes lock up randomly. The dealer told me that this was common and there was nothing that could be done to fix it. I was told to simply pump my brakes until they released. The dealer refused to even take a look.
- Interior and exterior panels don't line up - there are large gaps where panels should meet in the interior. The panels on the exterior don't match up well, either
- Intermittent "clunking" noises from the rear end. Dealer said they wouldn't inspect it unless it was happening while I was at the dealership
- Stereo problems - it randomly disconnects from both my iPod & Zune, has low quality sound on XM radio, and the speakers rattle even at low volumes.
Maybe having the first release of a new model isn't so great, maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe this is an isolated incident and I just got a lemon (it is yellow...).
No matter what the issue is, I hope Chevrolet and its dealers work these issues out so that a great idea doesn't go to waste.
I will update my review as (if) any of the remaining issues are resolved....read morehide

Love the car overall: crazy good styling, love the halo ring headlamps, very well appointed interior but missing a heads up display...Big letdown.....but the biggest letdown and an absolute deal breaker had I found this out on a test drive: the transmission shakes when I'm rolling at low speeds and press the gas to go (nothing excessive)...but the shaking is serious 2, 3, even 4 times the car will jerk itself and to a degree the occupants back and forth...not all the time but WAY too often...I duplicated the condition in another very new 2010 Camaro (w/in first 200 yards of test drive) so the dealer called it a normal condition of the car...normal condition my foot....I'm in touch with GM HQ with this ongoing issue and am starting to get the cold shoulder vibe......great car overall but be VERY cautious before you spend the $40,000...I love the car most of the time but I am far from finished with GM.....6.2 L. V8 400HP Automatic
(traction control ruled out as cause)...read morehide

I pre-ordered this car in February, received it in October, but it is worth the wait. The looks of this car is amazing, you feel like a rock star while driving it from all the stares you get. The handling is perfect, it is a very comfortable car to drive. The performance will shock you and put a huge grin on your face :) It is very reasonably priced and so far the reliability is perfect. Now, to all the people that say negative things about this car have got to be mustang lovers and are totally jealous :) people say there are huge blind spots on this car, but there is only one. You cant look over your right shoulder and see anything, but the little mirrors you put on your side view mirror fixes this, problem solved. people say "claustrophobic interior" ???? they are crazy. There is plenty of room in this car and im 6'1". people complain about the "plastic dash board" they seem to forget that this is a muscle car, not a rolls or Mercedes. To me this interior is perfect. So don't listen to all the mustang loving nay Sayers, they are just jealous that this car not only looks a lot better, but will out perform all mustangs in every way...read morehide
