Tried this car for a test ride, but I think I'm gonna go back to BMW.

Hyundai even makes parts for BMW LOL.... I guess BMW buyers aren't that smart either. So I'll go back to Audi or VW at least their cars are Truly German.


about the malibu, I don't know what how much of a mess this car is. Chinese designed it, Opel engineered it, and daewoo used parts to make this car. What part of this car is American? I don' t how GM can sell this car as American when this car is less American than Wal-Mart, and that's saying alot.

Secondly, car is not impressive drive. All of you brainwashed tards are buying because of your supposed patriotic duty to buy americans. GM never was American, they don't give a crap about any nation. They exploit oppurtunity abroad rape third world nations and make the workers slaves. That is your company. Plus, your GM cars are not a General Motors car. It's either an Opel, or a Daewoo.

I got another car and the car had problems with the transmission. I don't know what is up with the American GM cars. I mean I can maybe look at Chryser, because Hyundai makes their Chassis.

This car is somewhat troubled. For a car for 2009 , I am very disapointed in how well this car is executed. I mean the Japanese have improved their torque, transmission and overall prowess very much. Yes, GM still uses this old 4 block engine and probably this 6 speed transmission from Daewoo to put into their future models. I am not going to buy such stuff if American can not produce a car that compete against the rest of the world. This car was tested in California. It's pretty warm here so I won't have to worry about weather problems. Got this car in a big dealership in LA. First impressions is nice car from the outside. The back is a big strange, but the paint improvement is a step up in the right direction. Once inside, things start to deteriorate. Flimsly plastics and non-soft touch plastics give leave me a bad impression.

The car wasn't what I expected. After 20 years to get this car right, WELL, it aint' so great. The Questions I have are where did this car come from. I mean, I'm not going to buy an Opel, support Opel and have the profit go to GM Shareholders that don't give one crap about making GM a great company.

Anyway, seating was uncomfortable, too stiff with no good lumbar support. The engine note was kind of weak, and I expected more Horsepwer, but the car is too big to lug around...read morehide

I had been looking at European and Asian designed cars when I saw a Malibu parked outside a Subway. When I asked the owner if she liked it, she was enthusiastic in her response. After doing some research online, and finding favorable owner comments and a "Recommended" lable by Consumers Report, I went to a dealership for a test drive and was impressed.
I found the color/drive train combination I wanted at a Chevy dealer with 3,899 miles on it.

We bought our 2010 Malibu LT1 in Black Granite a little over a month ago. It looks like a luxury car with those shiny wheel caps! We love the ride, look, safety, and handling. For the price you get great value! We bought the car for our 18 year old son and we seek comfort in the safety and reliability of this car. As parents we love the onstar system in case of emergency. After driving Volvos, Saabs, and Camrys for many years its nice to be proud of buying a solid American Car. If my grandfather was around today he would be proud that I bought a Chevy since he taught me how to drive on his 1966 Chevy Nova. I bought my 08 right when they came out. My brakes now consistently squeal and My steering is making a clunk noise when ever I turn. Other than those 2 complaints I LOVE this car. I've had it a month, it drives great! Very smooth and takes turns well. I read the review about cabin noise and I can say first hand not true. its quiet and the radio is great sounding. The interior is classy much better than the Toyota Matirx I owned, I drove that Toyota for the past 17 months hated it and I can honestly say that Chevy has them beat this time around. also for the money its well worth it....read morehide
