I was a little hessitent about going from a mini van to a sedan, but after a road trip with my two young girls I have realized that there is plenty of room in this car to suit a family of four! I love my 2009 Mallibu. It fit all my criteria: gas mileage, under $20,000 with what I could afford for a down payment, On-star was a big priority as I drive 1,000 by myself at least twice a year. Traded my BMW for the Malibu. I haven't bought an America Car since 1976. I love the Malibu. The fit & finish is great. Enough Power for me with the I4 and 6 speed transmission. Good mpg, so far averaging over 25 and get 36-38 at constant speed on highway. Unlike any other American car I have owned, th eMalibu hugs the road, gives you adequate isolation, but maintains road feel, and the seats are very comfortable. Love the Entertainment system and the quality sound. Paid just a bit over $26000 and my previous Lexus G# 350 I paid $52000. Congratulations GM, keep it up!...read morehide

I just love my malibu!! from the color and appearance to the way it drives. also as with any car, if you drive it efficiently, you will get good mileage. The car showed 22 mpg, but i generally am getting 24 in the city and 30 - 32 on the highway. not too shabby!!

i own a 2009 malibu ltz and absolutely love it. it goes better than a corvette and is easy to drive and park. they got this one right. the a/c is temp controlled and is very comfortable here in tennessee. mileage with the 3.6 v6 on the road highway 30.5 local 24.2 . what more can you ask? 260 hp 6 speed here we go!

I went to Indiana this summer from Al.got 37 miles to the gallon. It is a 4 cyl and it has got a lot of horsepower. Very pleased with it.Mine is 2009. Would recommend this car to anyone. It has a lot of room in it.

I never liked the old style Malibus. I went to the dealership wanting
a Camaro, and left very satisified with my 09 Malibu. My wallet
thanks me, because I went with the 4 cylinder, with gas prices
approaching $3.00.

I just took my first long distance trip in my 2009 malibu. The ride was outstanding . It was comfortable and it drove as good as some of the more expensive cars. The gas mileage was very good we drove over 1000 miles and spent 100.00 total. Coming from a grand prix this car is powerful in speed and great in handling and gives a ultra smooth ride.
just watch your speed because it so smooth you don't realize your moving fast....read morehide
