This is our third. We traded in 2000 model without Stow & Go. It had ignition key problem-not going in all the way-have it fixed by a Locksmith for $100. We also have 2006 model. Unfortunately, the 2006 model had a few problems (CD changer died-we discovered it right after the 3 years expired-it has less than 25K and windshield washer pump died this year-2009). We love Stow and Go option very much. We took our 2010 this month-Nov., for a trip and had no problem (other than visor light). This is the most expansive car we ever bought. My sons (adult) & grandchildren will enjoy the DVD system and other entertainment hookups. It has many storage spaces and gets good mileage on the highway long distance driving (over 25 MPG I reached). For the money we paid, Honda & Toyota's lowest models were higher price wise....read morehide

I have had 6 Chrysler mini-vans and this is the best one yet! Find it hard to believe it was on a 'worst vehicle' list?? I have never had any real problem with any of the 6 I have had. The creature comforts of these vans is outstanding--down to the built in flashlight on the last 2!
I have really enjoyed the stow-and-go seating. Makes it very easy to carry a lot, but still have the seats quickly available. Not having to lift any of the seats out is also a great feature....read morehide

We have owned this van for more than a month with no problems as of yet. We purchased the Chrysler because they offered so many more features than both Honda and Toyota, and offered much better financing as well. The limited trim with swivel and go seats has been worth the extra money, as the leather captains chairs are very comforable, the navigation and dvd system are easy to use, and the blind spot detection is a great idea and useful safety feature. As long as the van remains reliable, this will be a great vehicle for our family...read morehide

I have owned the 2008 for a little over a year and have not had one problem yet. The entertainment dual DVD is great for kids and has worked flawlessly. I can't believe they would rate this as their worst vehicle. Just proves you can't believe everything you read, especially on the Internet.

This is our third Chrysler mini-van, without exception the best. With the 4L engine we get better mileage and better passing response. With only one car in our family we find this car perfect. With the seats in the stow position we can haul what you would put in the bed of a truck, Home Depot runs are no problem. With the seats up we can easily accommodate seven people....and with plenty of power. The side passenger windows roll down, which is a new feature, that we really enjoy. The three vans that we have purchased from Chrysler have all been reliable, with no mechanical issues except for the replacement of brake pads on our previous one. We have used this vehicle for camping, you can actually put a double air mattress inside, for hauling and naturally transportation. Have looked at other brands, none of which have the features of Chrysler. I might add that this is not used as a soccer mom vehicle, as we are retired, we find the versatility , as well as the ease of getting in and out perfect for our situation.......read morehide

So this is Chrysler's worst vehicle? That says a lot about how products are rated and how misleading those reports can be. After two months we have had no problems with our Town & Country. It's been perfect. ****** Our vehicle is well built and well designed. The interior has many features and a very modern appearance. I love the LED lighting! It has stain resistant cloth seats that are heated (including the second row), and look tailored (not over-stuffed) and functional. The fronts are comfortable for around town, but we have not gone on a long trip in it yet, so I can't say how they'll be with extended use. The second and third row seats seem fairly comfortable and roomy, but that?s was not a high priority for us anyway. The fold-in-the-floor seats are only available on Chrysler vans, and it blows away everything else for functionality. There are large storage bins under the floor when the second row seats are in the up position. The overhead console has a number of storage areas for small things, and has a cool mood lighting feature that lights the headliner. The same mood lighting is used on the lower front doors and softly illuminates the map pockets. The interior is lit with blue-white LED's that make you feel like you're getting into a high tech vehicle. Very cool! The instrument panel (dashboard) looks modern, and the instruments are very readable. The gear selector is now on the instrument panel, and takes a little getting used to. It?s definitely better than the old column shifter! There is also an upper and lower glove box on the passenger side. The center console has four cup holders, and the upper can slide rearward so rear seat passengers can more easily reach the rear ones. The sliding upper allows more options to storing larger items out of sight. There are many other cup holders and molded pockets throughout the interior. Our van has manual shades on the second and third row side windows to block direct sunlight, and the second row windows roll down while the third row windows pop open for ventilation (all remotely operated). The removable and rechargeable flashlight in the cargo area is a thoughtful feature, as is the umbrella tray by the driver's door. We also have the power operated sliding doors and liftgate that can be operated with the key fob.****** Handling is much "tighter" than previous Chrysler mini vans, and feels very capable and secure on the road. There?s no wallowing over bumps or around corners. The visibility forward is better than anything else I've driven, and rear visibility is not bad, but backing up is a little iffy. I wish we had the rear camera option, but it?s packaged with the DVD system which is expensive and not desired. The interior is pretty quiet on the road.***** Performance with the 3.8 L is adequate, nothing more. I'm somewhat disappointed with the gas mileage, but I expect it to improve over time. Almost all of our driving to date has been around town, and as engines break in they typically get better mileage and performance. The engine is fairly quiet and smooth, but it's nothing special. I do know there is a new, supposedly much improved V6 on the way (maybe for 2010?).****** Our Town & Country looks good, is upscale, and I'm proud to drive it. The real satisfaction I get is knowing we can do so many different things with it that can't be done with a SUV or car. It?s a smart buy and a great value. Overall, nothing beats a mini van, and this Chrysler Town & Country has the best feature set of any!...read morehide
