I had a 2008 Focus SES, sedan, automatic transmission prior to buying the 2010 Focus SES, sedan, manual transmission. I loved the 2008 model so much I decided to "move up" in the latest model and get all the options I wanted - to included manual transmission.

I love the smooth shifting and the sporty looks of the 2010. The body has been tweaked a little and the taller 17" wheels grab the turns better.

The 2010 model brought in the exterior light for the rear seats which was missing in the 2008 model. It's a great addition to see things in the back. Basically, the chassis has not changed which is great because it has been a great car in the pervious few years.

Ambient lighting is rather nice for a slight light in the evening hours.
I believe there are 7 different colors to choose from...to light the feet wells and the cupholders. How fun!

Of course SYNC is an awesome feature. I don't think I will ever look for another car without it. I love calling out what type of music I want to listen to, or to make a phone call, or get directions (with the navigation).

Coming from a 2005 focus ses, this car is much better. Driving this car compared to my '08 VW Rabbit had me disappointed with the handling, and some of the conveniences. A 4dr Rabbit goes for about 20k and an SES Focus Sedan goes for 20k as well. Overall though I have to say Ford hit a homer with this car. I LOVE SYNC! I was bit surprised to see that they didn't include interior handles, and they could have added vanity lights. The upgraded Sound package was ok....read morehide

Everyone loves this 2010 model. Fun to drive,a bit rough on rougher roads ( bumpy ). Overall- excellent. My first ford product and I love it.
Great interior night colored lights. Many commands on steering wheel are great.

Having traded a Honda Civic for an American car, I was a little scared, but this Focus has proved to be a more than an adequate replacement. It is more comfortable, the sound system is awesome, the ride better and the fuel economy is the same.
