New exhuast system sounds great and great new saddle leather. great ride and best car for the money. Doesn't have huge blind spots like the bulky camaro or challenger......

I bought the 2010 V6 Coupe with no doubts about it's quality and handling. The new design is great, as soon as I saw it, I knew that it was going to be my next car. I was contemplating between the A4, A5 and CTS, but the mustang has more history than all of them combined.
I catch people staring at the sequential blinkers. It's a great unique feature. The I can get as much as 24 mpg mixed as I coast to a stop and accelerate slowly. The car has enough power to accelerate at will and provides sensible handling.
The only issues I have had (which were all resolved by the dealer) were :
1. I had my gear shift replaced, as I placed my car into park, it wouldn't switch to park immediately.
2. They had a defective arm bushing on my front driver side wheel, so both front ones were replaced.
The car drives like a dream now, and I prefer it to my bf's 2010 Camaro. It has everything I want without a hefty price tag and a classic design....read morehide

Love the looks, super top, all the important things in this car, nothing over looked in features. A true classic, and most important it handles great in wet conditions. The adjustable seat features make this a true touring feature for travel. I even have a pretty little pony on the dash! Giddy up!

I've had my pony for nearly a month now and I've been loving it. The car is very responsive to anything I do and the handling is superb. I've been able to do spins and take turns at speeds I'm sure would have sent my previous cars flying. You can feel the Mustang gripping the road.
The amenities are ample - heated leather power seats, electrochromatic mirrors, automatic headlights, voice-sync media/phone - at times I can feel like I'm in a $40,000 Lexus or Infiniti.
The car definitely attracts attention. People look all the time and smile or ask for a ride. If you're an attention kinda guy, this is a good option....read morehide

After 2 weeks of driving the new 2010 GT (manual tranny) i can put my 2 cents in a balanced way ( mind you - in my own humble opinion).
First the good :
Refind ext' , the car looks great , the new Stang' is realy a nice balance of new aggresive look with a nicely done hood and front facia that looks at you with tons of bite & attitude.
the interior looks much better as well , indeed it is still a ford and yes there are lots of "cheap" feel plastic that even on a honda accord looks better and so it feels. but again its all about priorities. and with this car there are no exeptions to the rules. (and lets compaire apples to apples.) the interior is way better than the 09 and its a great upgrade.
the car handles very good , the steering is a alive . responsive , but somtimes it feels like you need more feedback especialy on a slalom while pushing on 3rd @ high reves ( a minute point though).
Performance wise: this car rocks ! i clock'ed 5sec 0-60 . and topd of @150mph. it out performs the camaro SS in the breaking dept :60-0 in just 106 ft.-- on stock breaks & no fade, ( no brembos - GM ,,,)
I really like the new engine cold Air intake tube connector to the cabin which gives the car a fantastic & rewarding sounds . - i turned on the stereo only once in the past 2 weeks , i much rather listen to the engine. - fantastic ! !
The 2010 GT is a rewarding car . it is truely a genuine muscle every day car , you can drive with ease , and you can push it - the car will respond.
Rated at 315HP & 325 pft. its strong but not super strong - note that the power to weigh ratio is great , its is relativily light car and performs very good, there is enough room in the trunk , and a small 2 back seats . the 5 speed is good, not amazing . (could get a 6spd & a smoother short throw.
but again for the price you pay it is absolutly a great deal .
The Bad :
As always first things you notice are usualy the visual ones , and some exterior parts could be put together a little better (i.e. trunk lid odd back shape and gaps ) which dont really match the natural flow of the rear facia. also you will notice the plastics.
Small fuel tank which at 16 gallons you'll stop quit often @ the pump. EPA is 16/24 which are great numbers for the sporty GT V8 but i would try to maybe add the 6th ratio gear to cut on that + compete with the Camaro and the cometition from the mopar guys, and still save weight by not adding 5 gallons to the tank and save the great total weight margin besting Chevy & Dodge by 300+lb.
To sum it up, - the new 2010 GT is a fun affordable daily driver which lets you enjoy both worlds without having to sacrifies comfort , drivability , and fun, all in one package . great looking car , and for the price (especialy with the new Ford Lease program back) you can get yourself in one heck of a deal that neither GM & Dodge can compete with.
As far as reliability - as i wrote , i have the car for 2 weeks only and will have it for a total of 2 year Lease , its hard to say how reliable will it be , on that one we will see.
If you are in the market for a sporty coupe U.S built or foreign , i would definitly stop for a test drive at my local Ford dealer and check the new 2010 Mustang GT 5spd Manual.
it will make you smile every time you will pass that 3500rpm's and those 325 pf torque will leave a taste of MORE .......read morehide

The Sterling Grey premium pony is a great buy near $20,000 out the door,Added over the top black satin dual stripes and side rear and back louvers. This car looks great especially with the retro grill and chrome wheels and 18 inch tires. The leather interior with the dash and door sill lights that I can set to my preference is worth the money I spent on this weekend car. 23 mpg, just an outstanding value for what I got after dickering them down $6000....read morehide

I have own 3 mustangs and they have never let me down, I drive them very hard. I had a 98 Z/28 for a short while it was ugly, reminded me of a cheese wedge. At 30K miles the alternator burned out, then differential gave out, and at 50K the engine spun a crank bearing. The new mustang has the skeleton of last T-bird/lincoln LS and is very solid compared to my old 5.0. It is a luxury model with a great looking interior and exterior. Yes, it is underpowered compare to the camaro and 350z that cost a few thousand more. I went to test drive the 2010 camaro SS for $40K markup and really was not impressed the interior was very cheap and the A/C,heater, radio control cluster look like out of a toyota yaris. The gauge cluster design was awkard and the needles were bent. The camaro had plenty of power to spin the tires but felt heavy and exhaust sound is not as good as a mustang GT. I know many haters point out the low power of the ford V8 but remember it is 281ci ford vs. 360ci+ chevy. Unless you are going to RACE at every stoplight and cruise at 100mph is 426 hp practical? The 69 camaro copy exterior was nice but the rear end look exactly like a 76 nova with the backup lights floating in the middle of the bumper. If you want more power wait for the 2012 mustang with the new 400hp V8. I will be keeping my 06 stang GT a little longer....read morehide

I have never owned a Mustang before and never thought of ever owning one. After test driving it I knew I was sold. It has one of the nicest V8 sounds I have ever heard. The SYNC feature is a must-have and the glass roof is beautiful. Handling was better than what I thought it was going to be and handled better than all of my previous cars. I am also impressed that it got all 5 star safety ratings. I would definitely recommend this car to anybody....read morehide

I recently purchased this car to replace a 2009 BMW 335i I leased. I ended up having someone take over my 335i lease. Loved that car, but HAD to buy American! Once they added stability control and Factory Sync, I was IN!!!
This car is truely amazing. Even though I loved my bmw (I leased 2 of them!), I have much more of a smile on my face when I drive this. (Especially with Top Down.)
When cruising on highway, I can achieve 28 MPG with a V8 powered car! (3.31 rear axle ratio) Car is at like 1800 RPM when your going 70+ mph.
Car is amazingly quiet on highway with Cloth top. I thought It would be very loud.
Cars OEM standard tires feel as though I have not sacrificed much handling to my Sport Package equipped BMW! Tires seem to be less than 150$ on tire rack! (Another Plus since BMW tires are over 300!!!)...read morehide
