I recently purchased this car to replace a 2009 BMW 335i I leased. I ended up having someone take over my 335i lease. Loved that car, but HAD to buy American! Once they added stability control and Factory Sync, I was IN!!!
This car is truely amazing. Even though I loved my bmw (I leased 2 of them!), I have much more of a smile on my face when I drive this. (Especially with Top Down.)
When cruising on highway, I can achieve 28 MPG with a V8 powered car! (3.31 rear axle ratio) Car is at like 1800 RPM when your going 70+ mph.
Car is amazingly quiet on highway with Cloth top. I thought It would be very loud.
Cars OEM standard tires feel as though I have not sacrificed much handling to my Sport Package equipped BMW! Tires seem to be less than 150$ on tire rack! (Another Plus since BMW tires are over 300!!!)...read morehide

Having been a fan of the 1964 1/2 - 1965 Mustang for years I finally put down the money on the new 2010 version. I have imported it to Europe and just love my choice. Glad I waited for the 2010 vs the 2009.
The trim is much better than the 2009. I love the retro look of the speedo, etc. The sound system is awesome and whether the top is up or down it blasts your ears away.
The handling is great on a smooth road. For example on the autobahn in Germany it had no problems at 245 Kph - approx 150 mph - and held the road OK. However get onto a side road with some bumps and in the corners and it tends to get a bit loose on the steering. This may just be the lack of strength in a convertable vs coupe.
Power to the road is great. The traction control works very well and even planting the foot with traction control on it keeps its grip. The sound that comes out is throaty and certainly turns the European heads as they are not used to such noise.
You dont buy a convertible for the trunk space but there is sufficient for a run to the shops or a couple of suitcases for that weekend away. What more do you need!
All in all I am very happy with it. Maybe the next step is to bolt on a supercharger, upgrade the brakes, and then increase the fun.... for a later day....read morehide
