Awesome car all the way around, with one very minor issue - it would be nice if external devices (garage door, etc.) could be programmed into the car, instead of needing to use a remote. Paint/stripes are perfect, although I had to remove the dealer's sticker from the car (I haven't had to do that on my last two new cars - the dealer used the license plate holders for their advertising). Other than that, the car is a joy to drive. I actually have the model shown in the picture with the same color scheme and electronics package. A lot to learn, but definitely cool and convenient features....read morehide

One of the fastest cars i have ever driven by far. Handles great for the weight, and the look of it is so sexy. Ever time i look in the driveway i just can't believe what I'm looking at and that it is mine all mine.

I have 6200 trouble free miles and I am very happy with this car. It's a "Cadillac" of a Mustang and it's very fast with an engine that is begging for a bigger supercharger, and I will get one.

I put 1000 miles on my new Shelby in the 1st week... enough said. This pony loves to play. I had a Camaro SS on order but canx'd it and got my deposit back. I drove both the SS and the Shelby. The SS has the looks (who among us hasn't watched Transformers and backed up the DVD just to see Bumblebee)... but the interior still needs work... very plastic and the gages are just weird (why are the gages next to the shifter??) and the steering wheel is uncomfortable and just ugly, as are the 20" wheels, and the visibility is terrible. The Shelby's seats, gages, steering wheel, and wheels are far more appealing than the SS. The electronics package (option) on my Shelby with Sync is sweet, touch and voice everything, but not even an option with the SS. Only con is the mileage... but was I really expecting the EPA estimated 22 highway (I'm in Hawaii so all highway miles is near impossible)? I am averaging 14 city (same as EPA estimate)... or 6 if you kick in the Eaton blower (watching the PSI gage is fun... and it's with the other gages where it should be). Let's face it though... didn't buy this car for the mileage (want a little better mileage buy the SS and keep your foot off the gas).. Shelby's exhaust note is nicely tuned with X-pipe and 4" tips... but of course I'll add aftermarket pipes later on for "that sound." Paid more for the Shelby than the SS of course by a good deal, but well worth it I feel (but who can say how much value the Shelby logo adds to a 2010 by 2025-2030... probably not quite as much as a '67, lol). Can't really say anything about reliability as only have 1500 miles on her so far.
Bottom line: I look for reasons to take the long way to work and home every day... the Shelby is a blast! SS is a nice car too, and probably the best bang for the buck... but the Shelby is more of a bang to drive and just more refined than the SS. When you kick in the blower the Shelby she flat out runs... and the power is incredibly smooth. Just so you Chevy guys know, I used to be a Chevy guy... fact is I like the Shelby, the SS, and the Challenger... and I do hope Chevy SOMEDAY builds that new Z28 with a blower, and lso you MOPAR guys know, I love the retro styling of the Challenger also, but hope Dodge can get the Challenger to actually handle some turns. Added bonus: driving down the road and watching people snap photos of your car is kinda cool... that probably doesn't happen much to your average Camry owner! If I see one more silver fish bowl shaped import on the road I'm gonna hurl. American muscle ROCKS!...read morehide
