I love my Acadia this was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. This car fits my growing family and is wonderful on long road trips. Rides really smooth and I don't have problems fitting into parking spaces.I would certainly hate to see GM get rid if this one. It will be almost as dumb as the decision to get rid of the Grand Prix!...read morehide

The Acadia is a relic of the "old" GM, a vehicle that came along at precisely the wrong time and filled a niche that has rapidly been loosing marketshare. Its big, it has an insufficient, low technology V6 that can barely do the job asked of it and its styling is already dated compared to the new crop of GMC and other GM vehicles. Its not clear whether the Acadia will be dropped after 2011, signs are that it will. GM is downsizing its capacity to build large SUVs due to waning demand and moving full-sale away from the segment in all but its cornerstone products such as the Tahoe and its Chevy and Buick clones. Mentioning the new Tahoe, and especially the Buick Enclave it becomes immediately obvious that the Acadia is a step or two behind in almost every respect.
There is no doubt that the Acadia does what it is intended of it very well, it handles well for such a large vehicle and has every possible option that will make the whole family smile. The EPA mileage estimates however appear to be somewhat optimistic, perhaps based on driving the Acadia completely unladen on a flat highway, we could not achieve 23mpg on the highway with only 2 passengers.
You can probably find the Acadia at a good price, especially these days as you would with any large SUV....read morehide

The Acadia drives very smoothly and has very high safety ratings. All of the options can be a bit confusing at first, but overall this SUV is a wonderful driving experience.

It is a great car handles and drives like a cadillac. The interior gets really dirty quick if you have kids. If I had to do all over again would have waited for a tahoe. The 18 inch tires are a real plus reminds of the caddi's my dad drove in the early 70's.

Handles corners like a sports car. Everyone comments on the in and outside design as new or fresh. My kids love taking trips in it
