Initially I went into the dealership with ONLY thoughts about purchasing an EX coupe. My test drive was in a Black Ex Sedan. I just knew that I was going to leave my deposit and wait for the coupe to arrive. The size and smoothness of the sedan along with manual transmission was quite impressive.The car was purchased 2 hours later. I have a 99 Accord LX MT with 210k and minimal problems. I still have to get use to a AT and the the difference in gas mileage 99 gets 33mpg hwy and 30 city .I looked at Altima and Camry and settled with Accord for realiablity and not to mention the GREAT price I got! For me, this replaces a 2006 Honda Accord with a similar trim line, the Navi is similar, with the addition of the wheel makes things interesting. Voice recognition is improved. Honda's flagship car lacks iPod integration, tsk tsk...the civic has it, the fit has it, pilot has it...why not the Accord? I need that usb port...

The car is alot roomier, and less claustrophobic than before. The engine is just wow...alot of zip, good acceleration and braking is much improved. Much quieter ride too. Alot of little refinements it needed, some things gone the 06 had that i loved....read morehide

Absolutly love this car. Rides great, gets good gas milage, looks great. I can already tell this car will last me as long as the other one did and look forward to getting as much as i can out of it.

I love the look inside and out. Fuel-efficient and has plenty of room inside.

Cons

The leather seats are too hard and don?t have lumbar support and I don't like the armrest on the center consol.

I have the black interior with charcoal gray outside and I love it. It is so classical. It runs smoothly, turns well, not too much road noise, accelerates at 50 or less quickly, I am getting 35 mpg (still have less then 1,000 miles on it), it is very quiet running, but it could use a little more power on the higher speeds to accelerate, the tires are expensive to replace, I love the fact it will be here for me all the way through college and med school if it holds true like all my parents friends Honda accords did. I will find out, this is the only car my parents will buy me so it had better be a good one....read morehide

My Accord is now 4 years old. This is the 3rd Honda I have purchased. Love, love, love this car. The gas mileage is very good for this size car - a bit bigger than the older Honda Accords. I averaged 34-36 mpg on a highway trip from CT to NH. About 28 around town.

Nice ride, handles beautifully, low maintenance car. The built in navigation system is very useful. There are a few errors in the system, but overall it's quite useful.

I have put 26,000 miles on my one year old accord.
Drove cross country putting 8,000 miles with anywhere
between 27 to 33 miles to the gallon. No joke.
Mostly highway miles.
Best car for the price.
It does not match my Acrua RL but the price did.

OK, it's only 2 days old...but SA-WEET!! I love the white diamond pearl color I got, just gorgeous...still considering the wing spoiler, but overall, I love the look. Some say it's a rougher ride, but if you know Honda, you probably LIKE the way it grips the road. I drove a Camry, but it was bouncier (some call that a smooth ride, I'm just not into it). The Accord is more responsive with a MUCH better designed dash. I waited to get the 2010 over the 2009 model because the bluetooth on the 2010 is factory installed without Nav. On the 2009 you have to have it installed after purchase at the dealer and it's just not the same...the 2010 has the handsfree link on the steering wheel. Stereo rocks! Seat warmers, XM radio, 6 disc CD, MP3 Aux, extra charging adapter, so much more...and all standard!! All I added was window tint. AND...I did NOT trade in my 10 year old Civic because I love that car too!! Now I have 2 Hondas! Woot!!

breaks, breaks, breaks!!! Do not buy this car until honda fixes the flaw with rear breaks.

The car is nice and roomy. Somewhat unconfortable but still manegable to drive. But buyers, beware of the the problem with rear breaks.Ever since this Accord has been redesigned in 2008 just about every other accord I know has the rear breaks problem.The rear breaks will wear out way to fast, mine are just about gone with about 12k. My 2005 Accord has 76k and I still has 50% left on them. About a months after I bought my Accord breaks started to squick very loudly. It is very annoying sound. It has been almost two years since re-design and honda still don't have fix for rear breaks flaw and they won't replace them. The cost is about $300 and if you are ok with it then by all means go ahead. By the way dealer will not admit there is a known problem with the rear breaks....read morehide
