Quality equal to a Honda but costs much less. I get close to 40 mpg highway. Excellent extras package - XM radio, speaker system, multiple airgbags, antilock brakes, etc. I added cruise control. Seats are not as firm or ergonomically well-designed as higher priced cars.

I bought my 2007 Hyundai Accent SE replacing my old 1997 Accent, am very satisfy but there is some details, like opening fuse box- when went to the dealership-they offered they could GLUE it! Other then problems with dealer provided service- no problems. It's sporty look, small but can hold bunch of stuff- when you fold back seats you have good sized cargo space... No power seats or cruise control. Passenger seat not as comfortable as driver's.

We traded in a 1992 buick roadmaster estate wagon, under the cash for clunkers program, for a 2009 Accent GS 3 door. We got 4500 for the buick, that wasn't even worth 3000, and Hyundai threw in a 1500 rebate. We ended up paying $8500 for the car, brand new. I'm 6 feet tall, and 185 pounds, and I just fit in the car. It's more comfortable than I would have thought, even for long rides. The car is FAST! It has a 140 mile an hour speedometer. I called Hyundai, and they confirmed the car will go 140 mph. They STRONGLY recommend against going that fast, because, as the technician told me, "The car could fall apart". It effortlessly cruises at 70 to 80 mph on the highway, turning about 3000 rpm at 75mph, not even half throttle....read morehide
