Having previously owned Jeeps, I like the style of the Patriot. It's great on gas, lots of usable space, fun to drive, relatively quiet, and a surprising amount of amenities for the price. I've met several Patriot owners and none are dissatisfied; I'd do it again!

Pros

The innovator is still the top SUV others are copying but cannot beat!!!

With other small SUV with less warranty, who needs them!

I love my Jeep. I bought it brand new. I've had it for 1 yr. I bought it when gas was i short supply and never worried about running out. It just large enought to carry everything I need or buy. I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off.

Great MPG,really comfortable, lots of room for family and all theyr stuff.

Interior looks as my 1989 Ponic Grand Am, quality of interior plastics is mediocre, slow at passing.

Love the ride and the interior room; I am able to get my baby daughter, wife, stroller, two dogs, and all of our stuff in for a road trip.
I am somehow disappointed with the quality of the plastics; it reminds me of a really outdated 1980's car.
Having no complaint in the gas consumption, although it seams really slow at the pickup, and passing at highway speeds....read morehide

Excellent ride and handling for a vehicle in this segment. Classic Jeep look. Lifetime powertrain warranty can't be beat. Own 2008 model and it's been improved each model year.

I have had my Patriot for two years now and I LOVE it! It gets great gas mileage and has plenty of pickup for a 4CYL. Everyone who rides in it is surprised at how much leg room they have. Even my 6'5 friend can sit comfortably in the front and backseats. The only downside is all the plastic trim that scratches easily, but with the YES technology cloth seats, its great for kids or wintery weather....read morehide

we bought this with only 8K miles on it and don't consider it a luxury car but a truck with luxurious interior and special
limited edition things like sunroof, high end Goodyear tires and great wheels. we love this car and would consider Jeep for future purchases....it's my husbands' car, but I like to drive it and feel safe...read morehide
