first i would like to call out all those lying and stating they are getting over 27mpg on the highway with this SUV. please do not lie, you will never get near that mileage on the highway. MB is true to the advertisements usually, what the window sticker states that's usually what you get and it's 21mpg at best on the highway.

overall i like it, looks good, solid build, smooth ride, enjoy driving it. overpriced in the compact SUV category, but if you want a Mercedes you have to overpay....read morehide

Mercedes summed up a small SUV's perfection in the GLK. I absolutely love my GLK. I wouldn't change it for the world. Its black on black with the sunroof, and the 20" rims. I didn't need the navigation system, but I'm sure it could be a plus. It is the most comfortable car I have ever ridden in. It drives spectacularly. I mostly keep it on "Sport" which is very comfortable and exhilarating. It drives so smoothly and is a head turning car. I have had it for four months and was one of the first to get a GLK in my town. No matter where I go people look at its beauty and design. I have so many compliments on everything about it. It is the perfect size for me, (college stud.) I feel so much safer in it with all of the air bags, side curtain airbags, and of course the fact that it is a Mercedes-Benz. Nice car. Glad i saw Joanne's review as i have been wondering what's up with the brakes. My Hubby also complained about the brakes. Scary when your car doesn't respond ASAP to the brakes.

The design reminds of the old reminiscent MB of the 90's boxy, masculine, yet tough and strong. That should only appeal to a certain crowd, I actually like it a lot. The interior is surprisingly comfortable, not exactly plush, but certainly upscale. I love the technology package, very trendy and useful. I've read many people have issues with the bluetooth, NOT ME! It works perfectly, even for text messages. The ride quality is smooth, yet solid, you feel planted on the road. It's stout, fast, and well behaved. City gas mileage is really bad at only 16MPG however, I drove to San Francisco at a surprising 27MPG on hwy. The throaty V6 and dual exhaust beckons you to drive faster, and FASTER! I would however like more room in the backseat. The GLK is definitely not family friendly.
Overall: fun to drive, handsome, great hwy gas mileage, not to mention affordable. Go get it!...read morehide

Love everything about this car. The gas mileage is better than I thought it would be- around 27 on the highway.....Rides and feels like your are locked in a quiet vault. Doors 'thunk' when closed. I really enjoy driving this car/suv it's fun to drive! I love the way it looks and I get lots of comments on it. It really handles corners well and has fantastic pick up...it's hot!!

I own expensive cars, Lexus and cadillac, then to mercedez ml 350 four matic. Then i have GLK 350, my mercedez are always the best on the road and in the gas milleage.
