I have the sport package and this car has smooth acceleration and a quiet ride. It handles exceptionally well with tight steering. I got a spoiler, fog lights, HID headlights, and alloy rims for the same money as the 1LT Malibu without these options. This is why I went for the Camry. This is a good family sedan and still has some performance for a big kid like me....read morehide

Overall its a great car and will keep getting them. The electric start with out the key is hard to get use to, but the passing and off the line performance is worth my keyless issue. Never had a car plaster me back into my seat since the Lexus. The control factor will be somthing to watch during snow, it has an issue of chattering when wheels spin on wet pavement. Interior is great once you get in it, evrerything I could ever want in a car. Some controls you do have to stretch for, but not bad. Great car but I do hope Toyota goes back to quality as they promise in the next few years. The need that repatation back. It could us at least on mor cup holder, (not Kidding) it has only two. and needs more power for utilities. But the getty up is great and the look of it in black is supurb, thanks Toyota...read morehide

It was between the Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Toyota Avalon and the Honda Accord. I test drive the Accord and did not like the ride. The Fusion was great but, after owning American, I needed a change.
I really love the Avalon. Its a great car. You can drive it for days and not get fatigued. But, the price is 35K which was more than I wanted to spend. This car is closely equippen to the Avalon and also close in comfort. I compared the Camry V6 because I wanted more power but, the power difference was not that much and the price was 3K for the V6 and Consumer Reports said the reliability of the V6 was not as good as the 4 cylinder.
The car before this was a Chevrolet HHR and I was tired of taking the car in for all the problems and feeling as though I had to accomodate the dealer's schedule regardless of how it inconvenienced me. I wanted a car that I could drive off the lot and would not have to take it back for anytihng....read morehide

I LOVE THIS CAR...HAVE WANTED TO OWN A CAMRY FOR MANY YEARS AND PURCHASED HYUNDAI. VERY SPORTY LOOK. TOYOTA IS FAMOUS FOR PUTTING QUALITY UNDER THE HOOD RATHER THAN THE INTERIOR...PREVIOUSLY OWNED A SEQUOIA AND HAD THE SAME INTERIOR PLASTIC PARTS. VEHICLE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT OVER ALL.

Rented one on vacation with less than 6000 miles on it. Speedometer jumps, electric window button fell off, dash lights just shut off whenever. Toyota is great at making ads about quality, now if thay could put that into their cars. I will never be fooled into buying anything by Toyota, Lexus or Scion....read morehide

This is my 3rd Camry, I have owned a '98 le, '02 xle, and now the '10 xle and is my 5th Toyota I have purchase. I have to say I was comparing the Camry to the BMW 328i with the 328i having a price tag at $36,000 that was for a stripped 328i with fake leather no nav, the 328i did have a V6, but to get a 328i with all the fun stuff that I wanted it was running about $40-45,000.
My wife asked me to go look at the new Camry's before I went down and got a 328i... to to please her I did. I was impressed. I loved my '02 Camry and after 8 years and 100,000 miles I sold it for $10,000. However being a Realtor I was looking for a "nicer" car, thus I was looking at a BMW. Not to mention I have always wanted one. My '02 was a nice quite ride that was very plush inside. All my clients would comment how nice it was inside.
I was at the BMW dealer ready to ink the deal however they would only give me $7300 for my '02 Camry and I wanted more for it so I walk out. I sold my '02 myself and (that was on a Monday, then I was going to go in on Wednesday, the next day the BMW sales guys was in to pick up the 328i) however I went down to the Toyota dealer on the Tuesday in between to check out the Camry... and after a test drive I was shocked. I was looking for something a little more sportier then my '02 Camry and that had a little bit more recongized name as a luxury car. Well at $30,000 for a 2010 Toyota Camry FULLY LOADED... it was kinda a no brainer for me. The 2010 has a stiffer suspension then the '02 and it is a little smaller all the way around (it fits in my garage better. With a V6 that thing HAULS, the '10 Camry has more horse power then the 328i (yes you read that right the Camry has 268hp the 328i is only 230hp) Then the standard features on the Camry at $30,000 for out way the standard features of a 328i at $36,000. Something I do not like on the Camry is the front wheel drive. When you accelerate quickly it gets a little squirrely and pulls to the right. The 328i being rear wheel drive does not do that.
The 328i has a tiny trunk (not the best deal for a Realtor) the '10 Camry has a smaller trunk then the '02 but still much larger then the 328i.
The leg room in the Camry has always been EXCELLENT (I am 6'4'') and I like the driver seat ALL the way back. In the 328i that meant NO ONE could sit behind me. In the Camry some one could still sit behind me. In the '10 Camry the back seats recline which is really nice along with having reading lamps (great for late night showings). The leather trim is very nice, smells wonderful and has a nice feel. I would really have to compare a '10 Camry XLE to a BMW 528
(I am sure BMW lovers would call that blaspheme) But that is how I feel at this point. The Camry XLE has no key. You have a fob you keep in your pocket and the Camry recognizes it when you walk up to the car and when you touch the door handle the car unlocks. Then you have a push button start. I can not tell you how nice that is when you have a arm full of stuff and you don't have to go digging in your pocket or bag for your key. The built in nav and blue tooth is awesome. (That was the main feature I was looking for in my next car) With the 328i I had to for go it due to price however I am glad I opted for the '10 Camry to have this. You can sync any blue tooth phone to your car (up to 4 phones) and address book and have it at your finger tips (or voice command) Nice quite ride, handles nicely, except for a rapid acceleration, very quite, very please with my purchase. The only thing I am a little ticked with was my purchase price. If I would have held out one more day I could have gotten it for $29000. I paid $30,000 for my '10 Camry XLE V6 fully load with nav, heated seats and all the fixins. Oh this is my first car with heated seats (the 328i did not have this) and oh my is that nice on your behind and back! All I can say is go check them out. I was very pleased!...read morehide

This is our 3rd Camry and we love it! The new 2.5 liter engine is wonderful! I have no problems pulling out or merging into traffic, and the fuel economy is good, too. Like the color and the updated styling of the grill, wheel covers and the LED tail lights. The 5 star safety rating is great as are all the air bags and traction control. The kids seats fit well in the back seat as well....read morehide

I got a 2010 camry with only 2000 miles from Hertz for my weekend getaway. The car really accelerates very well, very smooth and handles easily.
Only thing to say about cons is that the car seems to be little small as camry. The car looks sporty though.

ive had this car for about 2 months now and its been great so far. it drives really well and handles fine. my only complaint is that they seem to skimp a little on the materials they use for their interior. there are loads of creeks and squeaks because of the plastic parts. other than the audible annoyances, its a pretty comfortable ride....read morehide
