let us go figure.....
You cant be comparing a 4 cylinder camry to a gas guzzling pickup
With hybrid getting about 33 MPG at 12,000 miles per year ,thats about 360 gal. of gas.
A 6 cylinder (non hybrid)camry at 25 MPG...about 480 gallons...
480 minus 360 you're saving about 120 gals of gas/yr...
HMMMM at $3/gal...you're saving a Whopping $360 per year...
on a 26,000 car.....!!!!!????
and losing a ton of extras and giving up h.p....for more money...
No wonder hybrids arent selling....
maybe when gas is $5 gal ....wait thats still only $600 /yr..
a savings of.....$600....per year....the interest on the loan is
probably more then that..
Hybrids arent "saving money" unless they get way over 40 m/gal
Worthless unless you're trying to "save the environment"...and I dont think a couple thousands automobiles are going to do that....duhhh.......read morehide

Lots of leg room in the back and rear vents for the air-conditioner is a big plus in the So Cal summers. We had one small problem with a light on the dash board coming on and it was fixed by the dealer in the first month. This is the first Toyota we have owned and we are hooked on the brand!...read morehide

Getting better mileage than advertised (about 35mpg on mixed driving in summer). Power when you need it. The CVT is smooth and suspension is like silk. Nice leather, seats comfortable, with surprisingly large trunk and adequate back seat room. Looks like a more expensive car with the dark gray metalic paint. Got an essentially no interest factory incentive lease, and a bit below invoice....read morehide
