It's a 5 star as far as I'm concerned. It gets great gas mileage, I love the dealership and I have no complaints.

Rattling under the dashboard, squeaking noises in both front seats

Currently is summer season in the West region, temperature is extremely high. Cheap plastic that uses in corolla produces tons of rattling noise underneath the dashboard, both rear doors, both front seatbelt assembly, back panel. Rattling noise starts coming a month after I purchased this car. Driving on a new paved concrete road rattling also appears. Car drives well and get's top mileage. This is our second Corolla, we still have first one and still running strong after 150,000 miles.

Picked up the car yesterday and had it tinted today. CE model with enhanced package, rear spoiler with led lights, hood deflector. Color is Stealth magnetic grey metallic. Drives well in the city, havent driven it yet on the highway, hopefully i dont get that wandering feeling as some had reported with the new EPS. That is scary!! Also the parking lot dings. I did due diligence before purchasing this car and went by toyota's long history of durability, dependability and fuel economy. By the way I bought this car for my wife for her bday. A bit pricy esp. in CDN $. I have a 94 bmw 525i and is mint and my daily drive, the ultimate driving experience, but cant afford the new one!! A few quirks on corolla: doors open all the way out, dangerous on sideroad; trunk door can hit your head if you are putting in groceries in the trunk (spoiler made it heavier--possible concussion!!), attracts dings if without body side mouldings, very cheap looking interior materials(can not compete with VW or BMW in terms of quality material. I love this car, I couldnt be happier with its reliability and style. We have taken this car on long road trips and it was great on gas mileage and comfort. I installed DVD players for my kids and they dont ever complain. Nice ride and sounds super hot with a K&N.

I bought the 2010 corolla S. It has a great sports package and nice tight steering. I love the way it looks and drives. I spent the extra $ for the body side molding and it has no dings yet, and i park it outside every nght. The radio and bluetooth controlls in the steering wheel are nice too. I wish it had power seats bc it's hard to get comfortable as the driver with the manual seats, and really for the $ they could put power seats in there. It would be nce if heated leather were an option too....read morehide

Had a 2000 corolla 80k good car. 2008 corolla good gas mileage, great aceleration. AC a bit underpowered for sunny gulf coast. Body attracts dings. Dings disminishes trade in value. Good sound system. Will buy a 2011 corolla unless toyota resolve the ding problem.

Bought this car to replace the 1999 Corolla we gave to our son who graduated from College. We had minor repairs on the 1999 and when I took it to the mechanic prior to giving it to son, he found absolutely nothing mechanically wrong with car.

2010 has been better than expected in gas milage, it is bigger than 1999 but still gets great milage and my wife thinks it has "too much" pickup!

When we bought it I really wanted a hybrid, but the 2 we were looking at (Prius and Ford Escape) were no where to be found when we were ready to buy.

I am very happy with the Corolla and except for the "dings" we have found it to be very enjoyable.

Only reason I marked it down was:

Dings easily...
No Power seats or traction control on model we wanted.
Too early after only a year to mark this car's reliabilty as excellent, but anticipate it to be as reliable as previous model!

If I get 10 years from this car, I will be very happy....read morehide
