I have owned the 2010 Prius for 3 months now and couldn't be happier. I am averaging over 55 mpg to and from work (30+ miles each way). When I drive the car in power mode I averaged 44 mpg, which was great considering it was like driving any other 4 cl car out there.
The highest I have gotten in the car to date was 72 mpg in a day driving carefully, but 55-58mpg is normal.
The car has plenty of room on the inside and the leather and heated seats make it nice to drive on longer trips.
A MUST BUY!...read morehide

After 56,450 miles on my 2008 Prius that I purchased on 30 July 2008, I can say this is one great vehicle. Ride and handling is great at any speed. Most of my driving is Highway with trips of 350 to 2500 miles. At speeds of 75 mph I average between 42.8 and 43. 6 mpg. The highest ever obtained is 48.6 after a 2,642 mile trip and all highway. The car has plenty of seating room with plenty of storage in the trunk area or under the trunk floor. I find this hiding place is great for items I want out of sight. I have been in wind and rain where handling has been NO problem. I haven't driven in snow but I don't plan too. Tires were replaced at 45,600 miles with oversize 205 from the 195 which hasn't changed a thing. Driving in Texas is hot in the summer, but the Prius A/C must be praised. It is the fastes cooling car available. All opitons have worked with NO problem and there has been NO problems with this car. It's great and what more could I say?
Now the drivers seat I wished was Power seat, so I could change positions on long drives. I do suggest this be done in the future. I do suggest that the mirrors have signals installed in them, Keep up to date and make is safer for the drivers....read morehide

I have a Prius 2 and get 42-46 mpg in the city. I drove to another state recently and for 53 mpg average on the trip. Not Bad! Love the car. I'm 5 feet tall and I'm comfortable driving it and I have some friends who are taller than 6"4' and they love their Prius too. My car is 4 1/2 years old and I've never had to have anything repaired.
My son just bought a Prius 3 and he's getting 50 mpg in the city!!!
I can't imagine why anyone would want any other car....read morehide

Driving down The Interstate the interior is very noise ,you can hardly hear the music(I am a music lover) Other then that we are pleased with our 2008 Prius doing many round (1500 miles) trips from Idaho to California

Toyota Prius is THE BIG LIE. Sure it gets great milage and has that "green look to it, but thats where the good stuff ends. Wait till it snows a bit one day or the road gets a bit slick... good night!!! It will not kick into gas mode and the car won't take an incline of 2 degrees. After being stuck in my daughters driveway about 4 times and down mildly inclined side streets on several occaisions, I decided to give the Prius its walking papers. Oh and here is the good part. When I went to trdae it in for a real car, the Audi A 4, what 8 months and 12Kmiles ago was a $25,000 car, with no scratches, dents and being well maintained NOW HAD A BOOK VALUE FOR A MERE $15,900. I guess it did not maintain its value at all.
So don't be fooled by the big lie, but don't believe me, take one out for a test drive in a mild snow storm and see where it gets ya....read morehide

We had a 2005 Prius and upgraded to this new 2010 V and there is really no comparison. We were concerned it would ride rough because of the 17 inch wheels, but didn't find this to be any problem. It has averaged for the first month( 1345 miles )54.4 mpg. We really love the hatch back with all we can put in our Prius. The other night we bought a new chase chair and the people who helped us load it in the Prius were shocked it went in the car.Our one month experence is one of extreme satisfaction with our choice. It is fun to drive with plently of power and yet great fuel economy....read morehide
