There are issues, no power when a.c. is on, small gas tank; I'm always at the pump. my other choice was the Chrysler Town & Country, I realize now that the Town & Country would have been better buy!
Mileage estimate off.I did a 24 hour test drive and found the mileage around town to be far less than the EPA estimate. Most reviewers indicate getting mileage as good or better than EPA estimates... Don't believe it. Plan on around 14 around town and maybe 20 on the road. I wasn't impressed with the styling, It feels responsive to someone with little experience in real world driving and handling, but it actually drives like a dog....read morehide

This car is awful and do not recommend it to anyone. Yes, the car is a minivan, so I don't expect style. But, This car is ALWAYS in the shop! I go thru brakes every 10K miles, the starter broke on me, now the radiator is cracked. I bring this car in for all of its required maintenance, but in the shop additionally because of the continual problems with the brakes. I have the car in the shop every other month, and the cheapest I get out of there, brakes cost approximately $300 a job. This is my first Toyota, and will be my last....read morehide

I bought the van as a very safe vacation bus. I purchased the lowest trim with stability control, anti-lock brakes and traction control for Minnesota winters. I liked all the built-in safety features (air bags etc.). What I got was kind of a hot-rod. Lots of straight line acceleration, and it likes to stretch it's legs. Very smooth ride, but it reminds you, you are in a van going arounds corners. If you buy this after driving a small 4-door sedan you will notice the difference, but you should- it weighs alot more. You sit up higher and there is alot more room. I don't drive it very hard and I get 22-25 mpg (really) in the summer driving a mixture of city and freeway. In the winter I have never received less than 18 mpg. My van is the 2007 model, almost identical. And yes I would buy it again...read morehide

I purchased my 2006 sienna new and I've had no problems what so ever. I think this vehicle handles excellent in snow, it has many great safety features and rates as 5 stars in the goverments crash test rating. The insurance is very cheap on these vehicles as it's low theft. The most impressive thing that I noticed was the gas milage, it's excellent for a V-6. The ride is very smooth. Great vehicle to take on long road trips....read morehide

Over 75,000 miles on my '06 sienna. Absolutely no problems, no failures, nothing other than oil and standard service. Avoid the dealer service and you can run these cars for 100,000 miles and a lot more without any major expense. Not very good in snow with the 2WD, but plenty of power on the highway. Trim on my low end model is better than that on my neighbor's $35,000 ford. Avoid the run-flat tires too and all the hassels that go with them. Three cheers for Toyota Quality! I'm buying another one this year....read morehide

We are coming up on 21,000 miles on our 08 Limited. Thus far it has been a pleasant experience with great interior, all the bells and whistles....radar cruise, sonar on the front and back to prevent bumps, and you can tell if a person is approaching from the rear not just solid objects.
We consistently get 24 to 25.8 mpg on the highway and we drive around 75 mph on the cruise. The only negative is the noise on rough roads and I suppose that is amplified by the large cavern behind the driver/passenger area. The other problem are the oem tires and I will change them soon as they are wearing rather fast eventhough I rotate them at each oil change which is a notable 5000 miles which is better than the usual 3K oil change period. I would highly recommend this van for families, or as in our case grandparents with 7 grandchildren that we have with us at times. This was the only van that had 4 hard latch points with a good configuration when we were shopping. Good job Toyota!...read morehide

Was in the market for a BIG SUV like a GL320/450 or Q7 but ended up buying a Sienna. It's just too practical. Costs 1/2 the price too and in this economy that matters.
It came down between Odyssey vs. Sienna. Wanted to get the Odyssey but the interior was just not nice enough.
Got the Sienna XLE Limited.. The ride is super smooth and it drives like a Lexus....read morehide

I had bought this van brand new from the dealer and i love it.
I drove it in the winter for the first time thinking that it would be just like any other minivan but i was completely wrong, the first day of snow fall i went out an it was about 2-4 in of snow i said ok so iam going out the drive way and somthing feels completely different "I HAVE CONTROL YEAAAAAAHHHHH" no slipping, slidding, or any other stuff so i go on to i-94 west and iam getting on the highway (to go to my dealer to change the oil) and about half way there the van started to slide a little and i heard a litte beeping sound and the vehical regained control by it self so i asked the dealer what had happened he told me that the sysetm in the vehical detected a overturn or under turn and took control by activaing the All Wheel Drive system and all tires work seperately
I have owend this vehical for 4 years and only has 43k on it either from the panel on the outside slideing door (next to the window) came off and the chrome plated door handels that are wearing off on the inside i would highly reccomed it. it also has a electronic remote to open gates, door, etc.......read morehide

My past car was a 2006 Toyota Sienna so I have been driving this particular car for a while now. I had decided to buy a new car and had been looking at many high-end SUV's (e.g., Mercedes, etc.). In the end, I realized that other than the fact that my car was a "minivan" (which I swore I would never drive), it met my needs in every way. It was luxurious and comfortable. It was perfect for my 3 small children since I could easily get in to buckle the car seats and use buttons to open/close all the doors. It drove well and looked nice. So, in the end I decided to purchase a newer version of the Sienna. I am so happy I did. This new Sienna drives like a dream and looks great (mine is a pearlized white with gray leather and wood trim interior). I now have a built-in navigation system, XM radio and my favorite part is the Bluetooth connection between my cell phone and the car. Now I no longer miss my phone calls while listening to the radio. When someone calls me the car interrupts my radio and I can answer the phone from my steering wheel. I love it....read morehide
