I traded a BMW for the top of the line 4x4 tacoma sport. I waited for the 10s to come. I am beyond satisfied. My only regret is that I didn't get the Tundra. Resale on these is beyond imagination.

This is my 3rd truck I have own and by far the Toyota truck is the best.My last two trucks where American . I did not see anything atractive for me to purchase in the midsize class that had a real good value and quality for my money so I started looking at other non American brands I was suprise to see that Toyota had something I like and will keep for a while

This is a very nice truck that rides smooth and has plenty of power for a V6. Fuel efficiency is not bad at ~19 MPG. The only down side to this truck is the rear seat area can be uncomfortable for some adults, there is no homelink garage door opener, and some of the selector switches could use lights so you can see them at night....read morehide

Love the back up camera in tail gate, did not even know it was there until I drove one night. Roomy, back seat will hold all my wifes catering crew and glassware, and or my 6'-5" buddies on the way to the casino. Powerful enough, have not pulled camper yet but will have to do better then the 2.7 ltr in my old Yota. Tranny does some strange things when slow to go around a corner, then when give gas it seems to take a second to catch up. I dont have many miles on the truck yet and maybe a break in thing. Terrible Seats & Brake/Accelerator location

The 4-cylinder Tacoma has plenty of power for average needs. The engine is smooth and the transmission shifts smooth unless you have cruise control and air on at the same time. When in (D) any slight upgrade the transmission will shift erratically trying to find a gear that will maintain the chosen speed with the engine RPM's going dangerously toward red-line; this doesn?t happen while in (3) however. The seats are the worst I've ever sat in. It doesn't matter how they are adjusted, they are awful. The tilt steering wheel is useless because of its limited adjustment. Rear driver visibility isn't good on the Access Cab due to the passengers head rest blocking the rear side window. My last criticism goes to the location of the brake and accelerator. They are too close together which leads to having your foot partially on both at times. The truck, for its size, offers more than the competition but these annoyances are hard to overlook....read morehide

This is my first truck purchase and could not be happier. I have 2 kids, that still ride in car seats. Easy access to getting inside and buckling them up. The truck rides nice on the highway and the 236 horsepower has a nice pick-up and go.
