I've owned my 99NSX for about a year, and thought about other cars such as Corvettes, G35, etc, but for $45-50K one can find a really nice very slightly used NSX. This car is worth every penny and the car does hold it's value. If you like driving a unique car, this is it also. When I first drove the car, I was blown away. It feels like you are driving a real INDY car, as it tracks so solidly, due to it's wide stance. It's 280HP is enough to get you going fast, albeit a supercharger kit can be had for $10-15K with all the mods to go with it, if someone really needs the extra kick in the pants. I had a TWIN TURBO Supra with mods and 600HP, and I can say the NSX is more fun to drive due to it's handling. At 100MPH, it feels so solid, and the mid-engine roar is a wonderful sound to hear. On top of all the fun to drive stuff, the car is reliable, easy to maintain, and has a Civic personality if one so desires to drive it easy and get over 20MPG. You can't say that for hungry V8's like Vipers, etc. While I don't think the car is probably worth $90K+, it's definitely worth $40K-50K in the used market, and these cars are typically babied to death by professionals with little time to drive them it seems. All I can say is drive this car, and you'll be hooked. Vettes were a bore compared to this machine. NSX is one sexy beast.
