- Good looking, great handling. Great sound system, 4 wheel drive.
- Little Rough ride, Turbo noise, manual passenger seat and head lights, medium pickup.
I had this suv for 1 month now. I had a Acura TL 3.2 for 7 years, so I will be comparing this to that vehicle.
First of all this is a good looking small SUV with 4 wheel drive. It handles very well. But compared to my old 3.2TL this has less pick up. Even though it has Turbo, it's still a cylinder vehicle. This SUV have good blint spot view for other cars. It has a great sound system with 7 speakers, includes the sat radio. I had averaged about 20 to 22 mile on hwy and city, which is good. The bad thing is this only takes super unleaded gas, which is about 20 cents more than regular gas. This also have a manual passenger seat. Although the headlights gives you great vision at nigh, it is manual, you have to turn it on and off manually. One other good feature on this vehicle is auto lock. That means the door automatically locks when you stat driving and unlocks when your turns the SUV off. Another good feature it has is you can have separate climate setting for driver and passenger. Another thing I found out about is, it has smart airbags. When I put my son in the front seat, he is only 25 ponds, it turns the passenger side airbags off. Also one thing is this vehicle uses a special type of oil since it has turbo, so the oil change will cost you abound 70 - 100 bucks. I bought the SUV with out the technology package. You cannot add it if you want it later, so make sure you buy one with the technology package, if you want the navigation and Bluetooth. So far I don't have any problems with car, it has over 18.000 miles on it now.
I have also test drove the Toyota Highlander and Mitsubishi Outlander. If you are looking for a similar car with less features and lot less cost then go for the Outlander. If you are looking for a SUV with more room and similar features, then Highlander is a good option.
