- All the standard features, sexy interior, interior space, great ride,
- No ipod adaptor, better navigation now offered in the accord and TSX
I traded in my '01 MDX for a new 5 speed/AT 2006 TL last week and have been loving it everyday since. The ride is smooth and it has got quite a kick in the engine despite the fact that its not a MT. I have not experienced the reported complaints of "rattling" that some people have been complaining about. Perhaps they resolved the problems in the '06.
The navigation is very convenient and does absolutely EVERYTHING you would ever need it to do. All of it is voice activated and you can search for everything from your favorite mexican restaurant to the closest ATM. That being said, the lower tier TSX and even the Honda Accord now have a better GPS systems than the TL. The zagat restaurant review featured in some other GPS systems would have been a nice touch. Keeping with technology the Handsfreelink bluetooth connection works well with my Treo 650. My only complaint is, is that the names from my contact list do not show up on the dashboard when I am receiving a call. Other than that HFL works flawlessly. The surround sound DVD-Audio system is unbelievable although DVD-A are difficult to come by. There is currently no Ipod adaptor option but I've heard that it will be available for 06 models starting in Dec for $250.
I test drove the IS 350 as my other option than the TL, but I ended up picking the TL because of the overall value. With a comparably equiped IS 350 it would cost easily over 40K while the TL is around 35K. Also the 350 cabin felt a bit cramped and the overall interior still left me a little wanting. BMW 3 series were off the list as my family has had two BMW's, both ending in an electrical meltdown.
A beautiful interior, easy to use technology and superb ride leaves me with absolutely 0 regrets. I suggest getting the optional 18" chrome wheels as I feel they really add to the overall look of the exterior....read morehide

- Everything about it!!
I bought a 2006 TL Automatic with Navi on October 27th 2005. I LOVE THIS CAR!! I have been reviewing the TL now for about 6 months just to make sure that this was the car I wanted to keep for a while. I test drove it 3 times before buying. I knew the first time that I drove it that I would own it, however I wasn't quite ready to buy yet so I just kept going to a couple different dealerships just to drive it. Gotta say it's a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL experience!!! I keep trying to get all of my friends to drive it just because it is so much fun and so nice. You should definitely buy one!...read morehide

- good power, handling is very good.
- rattles, doesen't kick down when needed, wind noise.
Wife gave up a 99 grand cherk jeep and at this time is not very pleased with this vehicle. Too many rattles, spends more time at the dealer than on the road, brakes failes once (too the floor?), dealer trys there best it seems, but who really knows, all I know is once they get it right we are getting rid of it, wife is very disappointed with Honda, there build quality is going down hill, nice care, I suggest if your buying one test the one your going to lay your hard earend money down for, rattles are too many to appreciate the vehicle, this is our first time with import and our last....read morehide

- I love the look of the car. The Navi system works great.
- A lot of rattles noises coming from inside the car when driving.
If you can live with the rattle noises inside the car when you drive. I hear it from the front passenger seat, the back speaker area, moon roof area, ect. The front passenger seat doesn't go up and down.
