you really need to check this car out if you are going to drive it for a long time with this car to replace a light they have to remove the bumper acura have it where if you had to fix anything you have bring to them that is not good.

Bought my Acura TL 9 1/2 years ago (160,000 miles). The maintenance cost is minimal (tires and oil) Still handles like a dream. Has plenty of power. Thought about trading in for a 2013 but my car is in perfect condtion and I just love it. I have had several people offer to buy my car and I said no way. I bought the new model TL in 2010. I get more compliments on this car than the RL that I had previous. It handles extremely well and feels like the car hugs the road. The acceleration and responsiveness are second to none. The only downside is the tickets I get for speeding!

My TL is an excellent vehicle. I bought a certified used model and have no significant complaints. The one area where I am disappointed is the amount of road noise that does intrude into the cabin on the highway. This may be due to the tires but it is intrusive more than it should.

I have over 9,000 miles on the car so far and have averaged over 20 mpg in that time (mix of HWY, CITY and commuting). It does require premium but even at the extra $.25 per gallon my overall fuel cost is less than the Cadillac SRX that I replaced.

Other wise I have no issues with the vehicle. It is fast, maneuverable, nimble on its feet and is easy to park and roomy enough. The trunk is a little small and the high lip can be a PITA. Likewise the back seat is tight to get in and out of it. However if these needs are high on your list you should be looking at a crossover and not a "sports" sedan.

One thing to note I bought a certified used model because I could get a longer bumper to bumper warranty than with a new model. I purchased the 7 year 100,000 mile plan. Check this before you buy a new one....read morehide

Purchased new a 2012 TL SHAWD TECH SILVER.
My 3rd Acura. 25,000 miles and several oil changes drives like brand new between Tahoe and LA! Great on the mountain roads wet or dry. Want more ELS cd's but can't find to many. You know what I mean if you have heard this sound system. Dealer takes good care of the customer and the car. The XM radio is my only complaint. Acura need to dump them as they are all over the place on price when you go to sign up for a year or 6 months. Hold out and cancel they will re sign you for $49 instead of $125. Poor tactics and not what I have come to expect from Acura? The car should last short of forever even with my high miles. I would buy a new one every year if I had the means....read morehide

Overall I am impressed. Have and BMWs and MBZ, and this feels more like the BMW with the pop and handling the tech package has a lot of perks which I am still discovering. One of the best cars for the money

We purchased a 2012 TL with Tech Package two months ago. Great looking car that drive surprisingly smooth. The cars gas millage has been around 26 mpg city/hwy combined on premium fuel. It appears to be a well made car except for the dated navigation system. I feel Acura should be more up to date with a touch screen system that includes better mapping software and a improved Speech recognition system. Awful leather seats. $4000 for "tech package"? Dealerscrewed me on trade-in ( I know. Thats my fault) and showed no interest in rectifying problems. There is no product support from Acura at all. 1st and last Acura.
