- Sporty, gadgets, good looks, MPG
- No Keyless start or smart key, premium fuel
Purchased As Used
This is a GREAT car overall. The quality has been very impressive. I am averaging 25.9 miles per gallon with mixed, but aggressive, city and highway driving. Traded up from a 2007 Nissan Sentra SL. That car had a SmartKey, which this car lacks. It toom me several months of remembering that I actually have to put the key in the ignition! I think it's a sharp looking car, although many disagree with me. I love the Nav! One of the few systems you can actually use while driving. The dealership experience has been great. I can really tell a difference from Nissan to Acura. The safety ratings are very reassuring. The layout of the controls and displays are very user friendly. I would highly recommend this car!...read morehide

- All the great technology still.
- Sport Shift need to me smoother.
Purchased As New
Bought the car new; have it for about 5 months now and I love everything about it. The front look great and the back look better with the Spoiler that I added to it. All the technology stuff that come with this car can't be beat especially for this price. I do not have egine ping like how other commnet on it so far, so I guess i'm lucky. The cons is that when i change into the Sport Shift Speed, it feel a little bit bumpy, it they can fixed it where it can be a little bit smoother then it would be great. If you love a great car with alot of technology stuff then you will love this car....read morehide

- Excellent technology, fit and finish, ride
- front end could be a bit more attractive
Purchased As New
Bought the car a week ago and couldn't be more happy with my decision. Had a TSX before and this one is far superior; it feels heavier and drives smoother and quieter. The interior is amazing and technology works flawlessly. Some complain too many buttons, but it is surprisingly easy to use once you get to know it. The sound system is really the standout. I was surprised how great the ELS sounds. For the money, there are few cars on market that offer as much as this car and are as reliable. Acura's are great cars....read morehide

- Lot's of bells and whistles for the money.
- ENGINE PING!!! Rough ride. Limited leg room in backseat.
I am suprised that no one has mentioned the unresolved engine ping that plagues this vehicle. Numerous individuals have reported it, and Acura has done nothing to resolve it. And yes, it still pings when using premium octane fuel as recommended. Was considering purchasing this vehicle, but the pinging issue was a deal breaker. Have experienced this issue both with a brand new one off the lot during a test drive, and also while driving a courtesy loaner. Check the forums and you will see, these are not isolated cases. Might reconsider next year's model if they can get the bugs worked out....read morehide

- Great styling, good fuel economy, excellent handling,
- No L.E.D. rear lights
My wife and I own three Mercedes Benz; the most recent is a 2007 SLK 350. They were so unreliable that I was afarid to drive any of them to Lake Tahoe for fear of having them break down and then being towed to the nearest Mercedes dealer in Sacramento!!!! We wanted to purchase a car with good fuel economy, safe, fast and had styling...most of all, we wanted a RELIABLE car! We were really tired of the unreliable Mercedes...it is not unusual for us to spend over $1000.00 every six months to maintain just one of the Mercedes...let alone three of these cars. The Acura met our needs...I find it plenty fast, handles very, very well, is very safe according the government and best of all...it beats the Mercedes, BMW and Audi in fuel economy. We are not teenagers...in reality I get stuck in traffic driving from my home to my practice every day. I don't need a car that goes at break-neck speed and takes corners flat out. For the people who pretend to be NASCAR drivers...the Acura is not for them! But for the driving WE all do in daily traffic...the Acura TSX fits our needs. I can always swtich to one of the Mercedes...if I need to feel superior to my fellow citizen...and hope it doesn't fall apart as I drive to my destination....read morehide

- Lots of tech gizmo appeal, stylish instrument cluster, good fuel econ
- Quality is a COMPLETE disappointment, lots of rattles, road noise.
At first I LOVED this car. I have now had it about a month, and it has a lot of rattles, squeaks, vibrations, excessive road noise. It already has a busted right front door speaker (NOT from misuse, I can assure you...I have never had the volume past 40%). And today I find that the body molding that runs on each side of windshield (tha "A pillar"??) has popped out and is sticking up in the air. This is my first Acura or Honda vehicle, and I am EXTREMELY shocked and disappointed at the poor quality of the vehicle. If I could do it over again, I would go buy a new Nissan Maxima. Before this Acura, I had two Nissans...and THEY were quality vehicles....read morehide

- Looks more expensive than it is, only 4 cylinder luxury car out there
- Road noise (typical of Honda), Defective front speaker
I took deliver last week of my new TSX having traded in a 2005 TL. I really love this car and I think it looks more expensive than my 2005 TL. I chose black on black and had the windows lightly tinted and the car turns heads.
With gas approaching $5 a gallon, I wanted a 4 cylinder luxury car and this is the only one. Power is more than adequate and I am getting great mileage.
Interior is nicer than my 2005 TL and the seats are more comfortable. The technology package is awesome. My only complaint is the front drivers door speaker is defective and needs to be replaced as it distorts sound badly.
All in all I'm very pleased with the car that shows you can be FRUGAL and still be FABULOUS!...read morehide

- Look nice, good fuel, and nice price
- Noisy engine, too much button, can't see the GPS by reflection in day time
I am shopping about for my next car and test drive few car including TSX. When I first see the car, I love it until I drove it. Exterior and Interior are well design it. However, it has too much engine nose and the power is kind of week....also, I can't see the GPS in the day time because there is a glass in front of GPS and make the reflection...Man...i know i wouldn't like it in the long run. I should wait for Nissan Maxima...read morehide

- Awesome mix of luxury, tech features. New styling is much improved over '08
- 6-cyl would be a welcome addition, but then it would be a TL
This is so much more car for the money than the Lexus IS, Audi A4, and Infiniti G35. I've been very pleased with almost all aspects of this car. The interior room rivals that of the TL, much bigger than the Lexus. Interior fit and finish makes the Audi look quaint. The only weakness is it being a 4-cyl engine, just doesn't have much low-end torque. But if you added a 6-cyl trim, it wouldn't be differentiated from the TL. I'm looking forward to a lot of pleasant years driving this machine....read morehide

- Nice looking, Decent interior
- 200hp engine more like 140. Gas Mileage not as advertised. Poor handling.
Gas Mileage is more acurately 15 cty 24 hwy. Overall, the car looks nice, has a decent interior, but for the money, it is not worth it. Priced at 26k would more acurately classify this car. My oppinion, Look elsewhere, Mazda, VW, even Audi.
