Geneva Auto Show Wrap-Up

Leaving the Audi stand, we moved a few feet over to be dazzled by the introduction of new vehicles from two super luxury brands – Bentley and Lamborghini. The influence VW and Audi have on these car companies is obvious as new and more sophisticated vehicles are being introduced with regularity. Money is the key to success in the opulent end of the market and both VW and Audi have opened their wallets wide to insure victory for the companies from Crewe and Bologna.
Other significant introductions in the luxury segment included the Maserati GranTurismo, a stunning design by Pininfarina, the preferred designer of Ferrari cars. BMW showed the almost ready for prime time M3 concept and Mercedes-Benz pulled the covers off its new C-Class.

Not to be outdone, Spyker displayed the C12 Zagato just below their newest Formula 1 race car. A relatively new car company, on the rise and with deep pockets, it offers a unique product at the most elite end of the market.
