I got this baby in the beginning of 2010 summer. I can't begin to tell you how many people stopped me when walking to the car to ask questions, see the interior, look under the hood, take pictures next to it ( I wouldn't let anyone in it ), and the list goes on. You just don't have enough time in the day to talk to everyone and I guess they think you're a jerk when you just nod your head and walk away, but what could I do?
A couple of weeks ago, my 2 year old, grabbed a sharp rock from my backyard and scratched a pretty deep cut on the driver's side of this beauty and made a huge smiley face drawing on the hood while he was on standing on top of it. Needless to say I was furious, but I did my best not to yell at him. He's only 2.
My wife took it for a drive in my absence while at work. She took my 8 year old to a Burger King drive thru. When I got back from work, I went in the garage to hear my beauty's engine roar for a couple of minutes..., when I noticed it had an extra 5 miles on it! I confronted her and she denied it all the way, until I found the sandwich wrap under the passenger seat along with all the raw onions my daughter removed from her burger and some ketchup stains on the carpet and seat. I asked my wife, who drives a $300,000.00 car to a burger joint? Grab your Escalade and stink IT up of onions next time, I said. The car keys are now well hidden. As I write this I am getting pissed off. I just bought this darn thing a few months ago!!!
My oldest son 14 brought some friends home from high school to take a look at "daddy's toy ". I guess he's trying to fit in and make new friends. He told me they were so excited that they couldn't believe it. They also wanted to get in it, but the keys were nowhere to be found. Needless to say they took tons of pictures with it with their cell phones. Pictures were taken mostly on the passenger side due to deep scratch on driver side and hood. When I got home, I noticed that those little s**ts were rubbing they asses on the side of the car, and you guessed it... more scratches. Not deep this time. I think I can remove them with something. Anyway, all the pictures they took that day were immediately posted to their Facebook accounts. My oldest son and I are friends in said site. I saw all the pictures they took. One little s**t was standing on top of the back window in a Christopher Columbus pose as if discovering a new found world or something. I ran back in the garage and sure enough there's a dent on the hood on the edge of the glass. I will kick that kid's [****] next time he comes to my house. I cannot believe that my son actually let this happen right in front of him!!! I know he was there because in the picture I could see his elbow and hands on his metal spiked football cleats on top of the trunk.
I have since completely locked up my garage. No one gets in and my baby doesn't get out. Not in it's present condition anyway.......
